Having an ideal body is a dream for everyone. Because if we have an ideal body, our body will always be healthy. Besides that, an ideal body is a criteria to support our confidence in performance. Someone who have an ideal body will be looked more interesting and charming than someone who have body shape too fat or thin.
In this digital and instantaneous world, many people lament her body too fat, even she is difficult to find clothes in store or market commonly. They have to make clothes by their self because its size is too big. Actually, too fat body size can cause fatal for healthiness.
Even it can cause heart disease and wheezing. This condition is caused by a lot of fast food and unhealthy food in society, for example noodles that its process is very simple with delicious taste and a filling portion. Even, maybe many people more consume noodles than rice, dish, vegetables and fruits as their staple foods. Not to mention another fast food. Especially if that man is lazy to do exercises, so don’t be shocked if many people are overweight because their unhealthy and unbalanced lifestyle.
This condition make many people are willing to do diet with many ways and prices. But sometimes, they are wrong to implement diet program and they seem to be adding another problem for their body. For example, crash diet can cause less nutrition or even until anorexia.
Islam recommend healthiness and ideal shape for body, but Islam doesn’t justify f the way of diet was done too excess, moreover it is used haram materials.

- Intend only because of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala
Straighten your intent before you do diet. Intend only to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala because with doing diet and has ideal body will make our body healthier and far from many diseases. Besides that, our diet will be more kept, both times and quantity of foods that we are consumed, become compatible with body needs and it is not too excess. Or maybe, you can be intended diet to make your husband happy, so it will be a reward for us as a shalihah wife.
- Do an obligatory and sunnah fast
The obligatory of fasting is fasting that is done in the whole month of Ramadan once a year. But Sunnah fasting that is done in special days, such as Monday and Thursday fast, the fast of Daud. But, you never intend fasting only to loss your weight. Pure intent because of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala.
Fasting is the best way to arrange diet and as a treatment to relax our digestive organs. So with fasting, the pile of fat that cause overweight can be minimalized. Of course, menu for iftar and suhoor must be noticed about its nutritional value and measure.

Even Islam recommend to eat before hungry and stop before full. Because when we are hungry, we will eat a lot of foods, as well as eating, we must wait until our stomach are full first before stop to eat. Whereas, part of our stomach is not only collecting foods but it must be left for collecting water and air to digest foods and enable another body organs.
About this, Allah S.W.T said in Qoran surah Al-A’raf :31 that means:
“Eat and drink, but be not excessive. Indeed, He likes not those who commit excess.” (Q.S. Al-A’raf : 31)
Then a hadith tell story about the examples diet of Rasulullah saw.
“A human being fills no worse vessel than his stomach. It is sufficient for a human being to eat a few mouthfuls to keep his spine straight. But if he must (fill it), then one third of food, one third for drink and one third for air.” (H.R Turmudzi, Ibnu Majah and Muslim)

- Eating Halal and Healthy Foods
Food needs for our body is not only located from amount of foods that we eat everyday, but also from nutritional value in our foods. More than that, halal foods are very important because from halal foods Insha Allah our body will be healthier and fit, although foods that we consumed are not luxury and much of foods.
In Surah An-Nahl: 114, Allah said about command to consume halal foods.
“Then eat of what Allah has provided for you [which is] lawful and good. And be grateful for the favor of Allah, if it is [indeed] Him that you worship.” (Q.S. An-Nahl : 114)

- Suffice Your Water Needs
Water is primary needs for body, not tea, coffee or alcohol. Because of that, fix your drinking water, so your body will be healthier. Because water that we consumed will very help to detoxifying from body.

- Not sleep after eating
Bad habit that is often done by human is sleeping after eat a lot of foods. It is related when we are hungry, we will eat a lot of foods because stomach require to fill until full, consequently, stomach will be too full and sleepy. Then Satan will persuade to take a rest and sleep.
Sleeping after eating will cause a pot belly and body will be fatter.
- Asking Dua to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala
Endeavor and Dua is two things that are not separated in daily life. Including in diet, dua is an important thing that have to be offered to Allah S.W.T.
No special Dua for diet or loss weight, but we can ask to Allah directly with our daily language. Because Allah The Hearing and The Knowing all of His servant languages, don’t be afraid, Allah will understand our dua, although our dua doesn’t use Arabic.
