How To Protect Yourself From Black Magic In Islam?

The dangerous thing can attack you in so many ways, including black magic. Many Muslims believe some dangerous things come from those kinds of supernatural things.

Protecting yourself from black magic in Islam sometimes relates to the Quranic verses that are read during the specific rituals. That is because they fight against something supernatural of demon attack. Some Muslims, commonly using some verses from the Quran as the spell to fight them.

Even so, as a Muslim, you can try to protect yourself from black magic by simply doing what should and shouldn’t be based on the Quran. Here we summarized some of them below. Now, check them out!

1. Believe in Allah Only

Muslims should be aware that there is only Allah that is capable of protecting themselves. In so many ways, their faith towards Allah becomes the important thing whether Allah will help them or not fight the black magic.

That is why it is important to improve our faith in Allah as part of being a good Muslim. Such as mentions in the Quran surah Al Baqarah verse 107 below.

اَلَمْ تَعْلَمْ اَنَّ اللّٰهَ لَهٗ مُلْكُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضِ ۗ وَمَا لَكُمْ مِّنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ مِنْ وَّلِيٍّ وَّلَا نَصِيْرٍ – ١٠٧

“Don’t you know that Allah has the kingdom of heaven and earth? And there is no protector and helper for you but Allah” (QS 2:107)

2. Improve Your Devotion

Some Muslims believe that doing good things for seeking Allah’s grant can be one of the ways to improve their devotion. You can also apply this method so that you will become a pious Muslim.

The Quran mentions so many times that every Muslim who has a devout type will be protected by Allah including from black Magic. Such as mentions in the Quran surah An Nahl verses 99-100 below so that you will get some of the benefits of learning Al-Quran.

اِنَّهٗ لَيْسَ لَهٗ سُلْطٰنٌ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا وَعَلٰى رَبِّهِمْ يَتَوَكَّلُوْنَ – ٩٩ اِنَّمَا سُلْطٰنُهٗ عَلَى الَّذِيْنَ يَتَوَلَّوْنَهٗ وَالَّذِيْنَ هُمْ بِهٖ مُشْرِكُوْنَ ࣖ – ١٠٠

“Indeed, the devil will not affect those who believe and put their trust in God. Its effect is only on those who make leaders and those who associate them with Allah.” (QS 16: 99-100)

3. Make a Prayer

Prayer becomes one of the important things for protection to fight black magic. Muslims believe if they do the prayer solemnly that will avoid some attack from the devil and black magic as well.

Such as mentions in the Quran surah An Nahl verse 98 below as one of the values of the Quran surah An Nahl.

فَاِذَا قَرَأْتَ الْقُرْاٰنَ فَاسْتَعِذْ بِاللّٰهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطٰنِ الرَّجِيْمِ – ٩٨

“So when you (Muhammad) want to read the Qur’an, seek protection from Allah from the accursed devil.” (QS 16:98)

4. Recite Ayat Al Kursy

For many years, Muslims believe that reciting the Quran surah Al Baqarah verse 255 in the morning and night is capable to protect you from black magic. This verse can be easily memorized so that you can recite it before sleep and after wake up in the morning so that you will some benefits of Dhikr every morning.

اَللّٰهُ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَۚ اَلْحَيُّ الْقَيُّوْمُ ەۚ لَا تَأْخُذُهٗ سِنَةٌ وَّلَا نَوْمٌۗ لَهٗ مَا فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ وَمَا فِى الْاَرْضِۗ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِيْ يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهٗٓ اِلَّا بِاِذْنِهٖۗ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ اَيْدِيْهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْۚ وَلَا يُحِيْطُوْنَ بِشَيْءٍ مِّنْ عِلْمِهٖٓ اِلَّا بِمَا شَاۤءَۚ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالْاَرْضَۚ وَلَا يَـُٔوْدُهٗ حِفْظُهُمَاۚ وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيْمُ – ٢٥٥

“Allah, there is no god but Him. The Living One, Who continuously takes care of (His creatures), does not sleep and does not sleep. To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is in the earth. No one can intercede on His side without His permission. He knows what is before them and what is behind them, and they know nothing of His knowledge except what He wills. His seat covers the heavens and the earth. And He does not find it difficult to maintain both, and He is Most High, Most Great.” (QS 2:255)

5. Recite QS An Nas

The Quran surah An Nas verses 1-6 can be one of your alternatives surahs you can recite to protect yourself from black magic. Recite those verses regularly before sleep should be a better way as one of the Duas for protecting from Shirk.

قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِۙ – ١ مَلِكِ النَّاسِۙ – ٢ اِلٰهِ النَّاسِۙ – ٣ مِنْ شَرِّ الْوَسْوَاسِ ەۙ الْخَنَّاسِۖ – ٤ الَّذِيْ يُوَسْوِسُ فِيْ صُدُوْرِ النَّاسِۙ – ٥ مِنَ الْجِنَّةِ وَالنَّاسِ ࣖ – ٦

“Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of mankind, the King of mankind, the worship of mankind, from the evil (whisper) of the hidden devil, who whispers (evil) into the breasts of mankind, from (groups of) jinn and humans.” (QS 114:1-6)

6. Recite QS Al Falaq

The Quran surah Al Falaq verses 1-5 can be one of your alternatives surahs you can recite to protect yourself from black magic. Recite those verses regularly once you wake up in the morning so you will get some benefits such as the values of reading Quran at Fajr.

قُلْ اَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِۙ – ١ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا خَلَقَۙ – ٢ وَمِنْ شَرِّ غَاسِقٍ اِذَا وَقَبَۙ – ٣ وَمِنْ شَرِّ النَّفّٰثٰتِ فِى الْعُقَدِۙ – ٤ وَمِنْ شَرِّ حَاسِدٍ اِذَا حَسَدَ ࣖ – ٥

“Say, “I seek refuge in Allah who controls the dawn (dawn), from the evil (creatures that) He created, and from the evil of the night when it is dark, and from the evil (women) of witches who blow on the gussets (rope). , and from the evil of the envious when he is envious.” (QS 113: 1-5)
