4 Qur’an Verses to Protect Yourself from Djinn in Islam

The djinn is one of Allah SWT’s creatures. Each time they can see, hear, touch and feel the existence of us but not with us. We can not see, touch, or hear them bu wet could feel their existance somehow. So, it is not suprise if they disturb humans. That is why all of Muslims must protect theirselves from djinn.

Why You Should Protect Yourself from the Djinn

The djinn can disturb your life if you don’t protect yourself from them. There is many reason why they are disturb to you. You should protect yourself from djinn. It’s just for better your life.

Protect yourself from djinn is needed to do for increasing your faith to Allah. If you get a djinn’s disturbance, it could decrease your faith. Your faith will go down, hence you need to know how to improve your faith in Islam. The worst possibility is you will lose your faith and you will worship them and it will become shirk in Islam.

So, you should keep all of your days for get an increase of faith. With protect yourself from the djinn, you can do worship easy. Your life will be better.

Surahs and Verses to Protect from Djinn

Many surah can protect Muslims from djinn. The surah are following bellow:

1. The Throne Verse (Ayatul Kursi)

اللَّهُ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ لاَ تَأْخُذُهُ سِنَةٌ وَلاَ نَوْمٌ لَهُ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الأَرْضِ مَنْ ذَا الَّذِي يَشْفَعُ عِنْدَهُ إِلاَّ بِإِذْنِهِ يَعْلَمُ مَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَلاَ يُحِيطُونَ بِشَيْءٍ مِنْ عِلْمِهِ إِلاَّ بِمَا شَاءَ وَسِعَ كُرْسِيُّهُ السَّمَاواتِ وَالأَرْضَ وَلاَ يَئُودُهُ حِفْظُهُمَا وَهُوَ الْعَلِيُّ الْعَظِيمُ

“Allah! There is no god but He – the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. No slumber can seize Him nor Sleep. His are all things in the heavens and on earth. Who is there can intercede in His presence except as he permitteth? He knoweth what (appeareth to His creatures As) Before or After or Behind them. Nor shall they compass aught of His knowledge except as He willeth. His throne doth extend over the heavens and on earth, and He feeleth no fatigue in guarding and preserving them, For He is the Most High, the Supreme (in glory).”

Surah kursi is a from Al Baqarah in 255 verse. This verse will protect yourself from all of djinn’s disturbing. If you read this from morning, you will protect until evening. If you read this from evening, you will protect until morning. So, don’t forget, to read this every day.

2. Al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq and an-Nas

You might already know the blessing virtues of surah Al-Ikhlas in Islam. The three of this surah is called by Mu’awwidzatain. This surah are in chapter (juz) thirty of Qur’an. It’s called surah of protector. Read this for three times and you will protect from the disruption for the whole day.

You can read this surah before you go to sleep too. It will help to protect your sleeping time. You will be protected until the next morning.

3. The last two verses of Surah Al Baqarah

One of the virtue of the last two verses of surah Al Baqarah is to protect yourself from djinn. Read this verse in morning and in evening to get protect of djinn and other devils. You can add this verse to your dhikr habit. Allah will be always on your side.

That verse is:

(285) آَمَنَ الرَّسُولُ بِمَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْهِ مِنْ رَبِّهِ وَالْمُؤْمِنُونَ كُلٌّ آَمَنَ بِاللَّهِ وَمَلَائِكَتِهِ وَكُتُبِهِ وَرُسُلِهِ لَا نُفَرِّقُ بَيْنَ أَحَدٍ مِنْ رُسُلِهِ وَقَالُوا سَمِعْنَا وَأَطَعْنَا غُفْرَانَكَ رَبَّنَا وَإِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيرُ
لَا يُكَلِّفُ اللَّهُ نَفْسًا إِلَّا وُسْعَهَا لَهَا مَا كَسَبَتْ وَعَلَيْهَا مَا اكْتَسَبَتْ رَبَّنَا لَا تُؤَاخِذْنَا إِنْ نَسِينَا أَوْ أَخْطَأْنَا رَبَّنَا وَلَا تَحْمِلْ عَلَيْنَا إِصْرًا كَمَا حَمَلْتَهُ عَلَى الَّذِينَ مِنْ قَبْلِنَا رَبَّنَا وَلَا تُحَمِّلْنَا مَا لَاطَاقَةَ لَنَا بِهِ وَاعْفُ عَنَّا وَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا أَنْتَ مَوْلَانَا فَانْصُرْنَا عَلَى الْقَوْمِ الْكَافِرِي

“The Apostle had faith in the Qur’an which was revealed to him from his Lord, so did the believers. All have faith in Allah, His angels, His books and His apostles. They say: “We don’t distinguish between one person with another from His messengers”, and they say: “We hear and we obey.” (They pray): “Forgive us our Lord and only You are the place to return.”(285)

“Allah doesn’t burden a person but according to his ability. He gets the reward (from virtue) that he works for and he gets the torture (from evil) he does. (They pray): “Our Lord, don’t rule us if we forget or we are guilty. Our Lord, don’t impose on us a heavy burden as you put on people before us. Our Lord, Thou shalt not bear for us what we cannot bear it. Please forgive us, forgive us and bless us. You are our Helper, so help us with the infidels.” (286)

4.  Surah Al Hasyr 21-24 verse

Read this verse in morning and evening will help to protect you from the djinn. Allah will send angels to drive out the demons, both from the jinn and humans disturb.

Add this dhikr to your habits for increase the protect. Not only for protect, this verse can help you to throw away the djinn in your body. This verse can make teh djinn feel pain.

“If we had sent the Quran down to a mountain, surely you would have seen it subject to division because of its fear of Allah. And the parables We made for humans so that they think.”(21)

“He is Allah Who has no god but He, Who Knows the unseen and the real, He is the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.”(22)

“He is the God who has no god but Him, the King, the Most Holy, the Most Prosperous, Who gives Security, the Most Nurturing, the Almighty, the Almighty, Who has all the Greatness, the Most Holy God from what they associate.”(23)

“He is the One Who Created, Who Made, Who Formed, Who Has Asmaaul Husna. Glorify Him in heaven and earth. And He is the Mighty, the Most Wise.”(24)
