This time we will give you 5 bad deeds during Ramadhan that you should avoid. Let’s check them out!

1. Overdoing Something

Everything that starts with over is not good for some reason. Oversleeping, overeating, overstay in the room for hours, overspending money to shopping, and other overs.

As we keep fasting such as the prophet Dawood fasting, during the day we will get less energy. That is why we become lazy and become oversleeping. But, when come to break the fasting time we become overreacted with the food.

These kinds of bad deeds not only bad in Islam but also bad for your body. It will harm your body for causing obesity. On the other hand, oversleeping can make the neurons in our body becomes weak.

Overstay in the room or the mosque for days and not have any social interactions with others, then becomes ignoring the poor and others who need it the most are bad deeds we should avoid.

In the Quran surah, Al A’raf verse 31 and Al Maidah verse 77 mentions about overdoing to something in everyday life.

“O children of Adam! Wear your good clothes in every (enter) mosque, eat and drink, but don’t overdo it. Truly, Allah does not like exaggerated people.”

“Say (Muhammad), “O People of the Book! Do not overdo it in ways that are not true in your religion. And do not follow the desires of those who have gone astray and (have) misled many (humans), and they themselves have gone astray from the straight path.”

2. Doing Harmful Things

Everything that harmful is forbidden so that we should avoid it. As Allah multiply the rewards from our good deeds, He also multiplies our sin from bad deeds.

Every good deed and bad deed come from ourselves. And the most hurtful is ourselves. So, we should try to control it moreover in Ramadhan.

In the Quran surah As Syura verse 30 already mentions this.

“And whatever calamity befalls you is caused by the deeds of your own hands, and Allah forgives many (of your mistakes).”

In the meantime, social media become a crucial thing to spread the news. That is why we should control which one should be share or shouldn’t. Spreading some hoax or false information will become big rumors.

“Surely the people who bring the false news are from your group (also). Do not think that the news is bad for you, even it is good for you. Every one of them will get a reward for the sin he has committed. And who of those who partake of the greatest portion (of the sins he commits), he gets a great penalty (also).”

When keep fasting people become lose control because all their mind is full of hungriness. Losing control of the anger or any emotions will hurt another. Doing a hurtful thing to another is forbidden in Islam.

For example, when rejected the law of receiving the inheritance of non-Muslim. That is why we should avoid this bad deed. In the Quran surah Ali Imran verse 134,

“…and those who hold back their anger and forgive others. And Allah loves those who do good,”

5. Becomes Half-hearted Person

Fasting without having a pray and read the Quran without understanding are the worst deeds we should avoid. When fasting we should do pray.

While reading the Quran, such as surahs in the Quran that peace your soul, we should understand the meaning in it. We should do that thing with a heartful not half-hearted to get rid of Djinn in your body.

In the Quran surah Al Baqarah verses 85 and 208 are mention about this.

“… Do you believe in parts of the Book (Torah) and renege on some (others)? Then there is no (appropriate) reward for those who do this among you other than contempt in the life of the world,”

“O, believers! Enter into Islam as a whole…”

So, these are 5 bad deeds we should avoid during Ramadhan. Doing a bad deed not only harm another but also yourself. It causes anxiety, depression, and other psychological illness. So, it is better to do how to collect good deeds in Ramadhan and everyday life.
