5 Duas to Read When You Need Something

We read the dua when something in our minds comes up. It can be a good or a bad one. It should be better when you want good wants. Besides, Allah is merciful if you do the bad dua for others for example. But, yes, we make the Duas when we need something.

Islam taught us that when we need something, make the dua for it. May Allah will grant you His blessing such as when you get the benefits of reciting the Quran surah Ar Rahman.

That is why we have some dua for you to recite every day based on the Quran. Read them carefully the surahs to read every day, so that you will be grateful.

 1. Recite The Quran Surah At Taubah (9:129)

Recite the Quran surah At Taubah verse 129 makes your wish will easy for Allah. By pleading Him, InsyaAllah it can make your wish heard by Allah. so, pleased Allah carefully in your dua whenever you do it. May Allah will grant you one of your wishes by doing some tips to getting closer to the Quran.

فَاِنْ تَوَلَّوْا فَقُلْ حَسْبِيَ اللّٰهُ لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّا هُوَ ۗ عَلَيْهِ تَوَكَّلْتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيْمِ ࣖ – ١٢٩

“So if they turn away (from the faith), say (Muhammad), “Allah is enough for me; there is no god but Him. Only to Him do I put my trust, and He is God who has a great ‘Arsy (throne).”

2. Recite The Quran Surah Al Qasas (28:24)

The verse from the Quran surah Al Qasas is the prophet Moses’s dua when He needs something. This dua can be recited by everyone that needs something good like food.

Not only for them who make the dua but also for others. Recite this dua to help the poor will give you a more grateful feeling if the dua grant by Allah.

فَسَقٰى لَهُمَا ثُمَّ تَوَلّٰىٓ اِلَى الظِّلِّ فَقَالَ رَبِّ اِنِّيْ لِمَآ اَنْزَلْتَ اِلَيَّ مِنْ خَيْرٍ فَقِيْرٌ – ٢٤

“So he (Moses) gave water to the two women, then he returned to the shade and prayed, “O my Lord, I really really need something good (food) that you sent down to me.”

3. Recite The Quran Surah Al Anbiya (21;87)

Sometimes, we realized that we need to get out of the bad environment that makes us far away from Allah. That is why we need to recite this verse of the Quran surah Al Anbiya verse 87. May Allah will give you some lights that you can follow in a good way.

وَذَا النُّوْنِ اِذْ ذَّهَبَ مُغَاضِبًا فَظَنَّ اَنْ لَّنْ نَّقْدِرَ عَلَيْهِ فَنَادٰى فِى الظُّلُمٰتِ اَنْ لَّآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّآ اَنْتَ سُبْحٰنَكَ اِنِّيْ كُنْتُ مِنَ الظّٰلِمِيْنَ ۚ – ٨٧

“And (remember the story) Zun Nun (Yunus), when he left in a state of anger, then he thought that We would not trouble him, so he prayed in a very dark condition, “There is no god but You, Glory to You. Really, I am among the wrongdoers. “

4. Recite The Quran Surah Al Mumtahanah (60:4)

Islam taught us that everything happens from Allah. it comes from Allah so that everything will return to Allah only. We need to recite this verse of the Quran surah Al Mumtahanah verse 4 to remind us about it. Thus, we can make a wise dua towards Allah.

We should realize that not every dua that we made not always granted by Allah. That is why we should remember this verse. Everything we need may not truly need from Allah’s perspective.

قَدْ كَانَتْ لَكُمْ اُسْوَةٌ حَسَنَةٌ فِيْٓ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ وَالَّذِيْنَ مَعَهٗۚ اِذْ قَالُوْا لِقَوْمِهِمْ اِنَّا بُرَءٰۤؤُا مِنْكُمْ وَمِمَّا تَعْبُدُوْنَ مِنْ دُوْنِ اللّٰهِ ۖ كَفَرْنَا بِكُمْ وَبَدَا بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَكُمُ الْعَدَاوَةُ وَالْبَغْضَاۤءُ اَبَدًا حَتّٰى تُؤْمِنُوْا بِاللّٰهِ وَحْدَهٗٓ اِلَّا قَوْلَ اِبْرٰهِيْمَ لِاَبِيْهِ لَاَسْتَغْفِرَنَّ لَكَ وَمَآ اَمْلِكُ لَكَ مِنَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ شَيْءٍۗ رَبَّنَا عَلَيْكَ تَوَكَّلْنَا وَاِلَيْكَ اَنَبْنَا وَاِلَيْكَ الْمَصِيْرُ – ٤

“Indeed, there has been a good role model for you to Ibrahim and the people who were with him, when they said to his people, “Verily, we are detached from you and from what you worship besides Allah, we deny (disbelief) and have manifested you between us and you there is enmity and hatred forever and ever until you believe in Allah alone, “except Abraham’s words to his father,” Really, I will ask forgiveness for you, but I absolutely cannot reject (torture) Allah against you. ” (Ibrahim said), “O our Lord, we only trust you and only repent to you and only you return,”

5. Recite The Quran Surah Al Baqarah (2: 201)

Most people make dua for their glory, wealth, health, or happiness. But sometimes, Allah’s thaught way is different from us. To be honest, some of us only pray for what we need in this world while we lived.

We forget that there is a life after this that come forever. That is why we need to recite this verse from the Quran surah Al Baqarah verse 201 as said by the importance of tafsir in Islam. 

We should remember that the afterlife is undeniable and we will live there forever. May Allah grant us to be the good people He wants that worth for Jannah.

وَمِنْهُمْ مَّنْ يَّقُوْلُ رَبَّنَآ اٰتِنَا فِى الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَّفِى الْاٰخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَّقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ – ٢٠١

“And among them, there are those who pray, “O our Lord, grant us goodness in the world and goodness in the afterlife, and protect us from the doom of rushing.”

So, there is some dua that you can recite from the Quran for your everyday need. Every time you need something, you can make the dua towards Allah only. May He give you His gratitude as you have the best time to study the Quran.
