Ramadan is the most coveted month and is awaited by all Muslims. Moreover for this month comes only once a year and only lasts for one month.
This month becomes so special because, Allah SWT spoils the Muslims by giving overflow of rewards and blessings on the good done as reward in the month of ramadhan sahoor. The most important point of this month is the obligation to perform fasting by holding back hunger and thirst and lust for a month.
For Muslim men will certainly be able to focus more in running the ramadhan worship for a whole month in prayer welcome ramadan. Because naturally they do not experience menstrual cycle as women who will inhibit fasting ramadhan to be full. However, in other circumstances of course there is an urgent situation. For example, illness that makes can not run fasting or in the condition of traveling (Musyafir).
As in the following words of Allah SWT:
“Say, O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful” (Az-Zumar : 53)
Described in His Word that Allah SWT does not advocate for imposing self-ability. If we are not strong then certainly there will be leniency given. It is permissible not to perform fasting at that time. However, of course with the note that the fasting should be replaced at another time. To discuss further, in the following will be explained briefly about 13 Ways to Change the Ramadan Fasting for Men and their words.
1. No Obligations To Do Qada If Leaving Fasting Intentionally
Shaykh Ibn Utsaimin rohimahulloh explains,
“Practice of obedience such as fasting, prayer, zakat and other abandoned without any udzur, worship has no obligation to do qada’, and it is repent that will later eliminate those mistakes. If he repents to Allah in truth and do many sholih deeds, then that is enough than repeating those deeds. “
Opinion above states that if a Muslim leave obligations such as fasting by accident then he is required to do qada. So in this case, a man who abandons fasting is deliberately not allowed to do qada’. As a redeemer of that is by doing repentance done in earnest as the practice of dhikr in the month of Ramadan.
2. Do Qada
Allah Ta’ala said,
“[Fasting for] a limited number of days. So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] – then an equal number of days [are to be made up]. And upon those who are able[ to fast, but with hardship ] – a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a person [each day]. And whoever volunteers excess – it is better for him. But to fast is best for you, if you only knew.” (QS. Al Baqara : 184)
In this word Allah affirms that if under certain conditions, eg sickness or musyafir. Then a man who leaves his fast is given the obligation to do qada. Qada itself is a substitute of fasting that is done outside of ramadahan month. This is a form of redemption for the unintentionalness of having abandoned the obligatory fasting.

3. Obliged to Replace the Same Amount
As Allah says Subhanahu wa ta’ala:
وَمَنْ كَانَ مَرِيضًا أَوْ عَلَىٰ سَفَرٍ فَعِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَيَّامٍ أُخَرَ
“and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days” (Q.S Al Baqara : 185)
The next is how to change ramadan fasting for men is done by replacing the fasting in the same amount. The amount referred to here is the number of abandoned fasts. For example, for 3 days do not perform the obligatory fast, then the obligatory pay is three days.
4. Changing Outside the Month of Ramadan
The obligation to replace Ramadan fasting must be done as the reward of dhuha prayer in Ramadhan. Mandatory means that if not paid then the law will be sinful. Conditions to replace this fasting must be done outside the month of Ramadan. Where can be done after Ramadan in the year is over.
5. Intention to Change Fasting
[AdSense-A] The main thing to do for men who abandon fasting is of course having the intention to replace it. Although only one day but something that has been attached as a liability means can not be contested. In fact there are many who underestimate this, so until the month of Ramadan next year arrived fast debt in the year yesterday has not been replaced. Surely such a thing will be very loss.

A’ishah, beloved wife of the Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam always ready to serve her husband, whenever husband comes. So A’ishah did not want his husband’s intentions delayed because he was qadha fasting ramadhan. Until he ends qadhanya, until the Sya’ban month, and it is the last chance for qadha.
Al-Hafidz Ibnu Hajar said,
“Inferred from the spirit of A’isyah to do qada fasting in the month of Sha’ban, indicating that should not end to qadha fasting ramadhan, to enter the next ramadhan.” (Fathul Bari, 4/191).

“Let him fast it ; and whoever is ill or on a journey – then an equal number of other days” (QS. Al-Baqara: 185)
What is meant by not being mandatory here is for example we have a 3 day obligation to replace fasting. Then it can be done two days in the month of Dhul-Hidjah and one day in the month of Sha’ban.
8. It is sunnah to be substituted sequentially
There is another opinion that the obligation to replace Ramadan fasting is done in sequence. It is the opinion of Ibnu Taimiyah that qadha ‘fasting is more afdhol in a row because it will be faster escape from the burden of obligation. He said,
“It is sunnah to do qadha ‘fasting Ramadan in a row. If it can not be done in a row, then why not separate? “(Majmu ‘Al Fatawa, 24: 136). Such was not punished according to Ibn Taimiyah makruh.
In addition, the Prophet’s Word:
قَضَاءُ رَمَضَانَ إنْ شَاءَ فَرَّقَ وَإنْ شَاءَ تَابَعَ
“Qadha ‘(fasting) Ramadan, if he will, then he may do it separately. And if he wished, he could do it in a row. “(HR Daruquthni, from Ibnu ‘Umar)

Changing the Ramadan fasting month is done as you fasted Ramadan. There are no special provisions, you are also desirable to suhoor as the law of suhoor in Ramadan before Shubuh. Break-fasting time arrived when the Maghrib prayer’s adzan began to reverberate.
