One of the reasons why your Dua is not answered yet can be the cause of your crisis of faith in Allah. That can lead you to have a doubt in Allah that may dangerous for you. Indeed, Allah already mentions that He is listening to every supplication you made.

It is mentioned in the Quran surah Al Baqarah verse 186 below.

وَاِذَا سَاَلَكَ عِبَادِيْ عَنِّيْ فَاِنِّيْ قَرِيْبٌ ۗ اُجِيْبُ دَعْوَةَ الدَّاعِ اِذَا دَعَانِۙ فَلْيَسْتَجِيْبُوْا لِيْ وَلْيُؤْمِنُوْا بِيْ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْشُدُوْنَ ١٨٦

“When My servants ask you (Prophet Muhammad) about Me, verily I am near. I grant the prayer of the one who prays when he prays to Me. So let them fulfill My (command) and believe in Me so that they will always be in the truth.” (QS 2:186)

2. Lack of Sincerity

Lack of sincerity is one of the reasons why your Dua is not answered yet by Allah. Most Muslims believe that sincerity is one of the ways you get through Allah’s attention. That is why it is important to put an effort into your supplication sincerely.

Just like when you have to beg someone to do something for you, you need to give all of your sincerity to your Dua to Allah. If you can’t do that it can be one of the reasons why your Dua is not answered yet by Allah.

هُوَ الَّذِيْ يُرِيْكُمْ اٰيٰتِهٖ وَيُنَزِّلُ لَكُمْ مِّنَ السَّمَاۤءِ رِزْقًا ۗوَمَا يَتَذَكَّرُ اِلَّا مَنْ يُّنِيْبُ ١٣ فَادْعُوا اللّٰهَ مُخْلِصِيْنَ لَهُ الدِّيْنَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكٰفِرُوْنَ ١٤

“It is He who shows you His signs and sends down sustenance from the sky for you. The one who gets the lesson is none other than those who return (to Allah). So, worship Allah with complete obedience to Him even though the disbelievers do not like (Him).” (QS 40:13-14)

3. Being Impatience

Being impatience is one of the reasons why your Dua is not answered yet by Allah. Most Muslim believe that being patient is one of the ways to improve their faith in Allah. Being an impatience Muslim just will make them get far from Allah’s blessing.

Instead of being impatience, you can do small deeds with big rewards in Islam so that may your Dua will be answered. Such it is mentioned in the Quran surah Al Baqarah verse 153 below.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوا اسْتَعِيْنُوْا بِالصَّبْرِ وَالصَّلٰوةِ ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ مَعَ الصّٰبِرِيْنَ ١٥٣

“O you who believe, seek help (to Allah) with patience and prayer. Verily Allah is with those who are patient.” (QS 2:153)

4. Earning Unlawful Income

Being impatience is one of the reasons why your Dua is not answered yet by Allah. Most Muslim believe that being patient is one of the ways to improve their faith in Allah. Being an impatience Muslim just will make them get far from Allah’s blessing.

It is not always something your earn for a living but includes some of the things that invalidate your Salah and also influence your Dua. Such it is mentioned in the Quran surah Al Baqarah verse 153 below.

يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا كُلُوْا مِنْ طَيِّبٰتِ مَا رَزَقْنٰكُمْ وَاشْكُرُوْا لِلّٰهِ اِنْ كُنْتُمْ اِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُوْنَ ١٧٢

“O you who believe, eat of the good things We have bestowed upon you and be grateful to Allah if you truly worship Him.” (QS 2:172)

5. Acting beyond the Limit

Always acting beyond the limit is one of the reasons why your Dua is not answered yet by Allah. As a Muslim, you may aware of how you should act towards something, including how to forgive someone or even when you make some supplications towards Allah.

Instead of being rude by acting beyond the limit, you should silently do your prayers and Dua with a humble heart. Doing it solemnly may take you to Allah’s blessing so that He would answer your Dua.

Such as it is mentioned in the Quran surah Al A’raf verse 55 below.

اُدْعُوْا رَبَّكُمْ تَضَرُّعًا وَّخُفْيَةً ۗاِنَّهٗ لَا يُحِبُّ الْمُعْتَدِيْنَۚ ٥٥

“Pray to your Lord in a humble and soft voice. Verily, He does not like those who transgress.” (QS 7:55)
