It is important for Muslims to always put Allah first in every step of their daily life. Muslim knows that it becomes the basic rule for loving Allah above everything. As your love towards Allah becomes stronger, the easier way to stay Istiqomah is possible.

As mentions in the Quran surah Fussilat verse 33 below.

“And who is better at speaking than someone who calls to Allah and works good deeds and says, “Really, I am among the Muslims (who surrendered)?” (QS 41:33)

2. Self-introspection

Look deeper into yourself is important as you will figuring so many things like the part of the self-introspection. During that time, you may figure something new as one of the ways towards staying Istiqamah.

If you have a difficult way to do that, start by writing what’s good and bad for you under the name of Allah may be one of the things you can do. So much research proves that writing can help you the most during the self-introspection time such as make the Dua to keep away from sin consistently.

If Allah gives His blessing during your self-introspection time, you may capable to realize that Allah is great in everything. Such as mentions in the Quran surah Fussilah verse 37 below.

“And some of the signs of His greatness are night, day, sun-day, and moon. Do not prostrate to the sun and not (also) to the moon, but bow to Allah who created it, if you only worship Him.” (QS 41:37)

For so many reasons, helping each other becomes one of the good deeds towards Allah that we should not be avoiding to. Keep the balance over the world and the hereafter may hard to do but there is a way on how to overcome guilty in Islam that we can do. But, overdoing something does not good for Muslims.

“And be patient, because verily Allah does not waste the reward of those who do good.” (QS 11:115)

During the process of being patient, we may don’t even know that Allah will give you more Istiqamah way. You may make a dua to avoid anger in Islam towards your patient. As mentions in the Quran surah Fussilah verse 35 below.

“And (good qualities) will not be awarded except to people who are patient and not awarded except to people who have great luck.” (QS 41:35)

That because for some reason we may get over our lust towards everything, have a lack of self-control, and many more.

That already mentions in the Quran Fussilah verse 36 below.

“And if the devil bothers you with temptation, then ask Allah for protection. Indeed, he is the one who is hearing, all knowing.” (QS 41:36)

6. Don’t Give Up!

Allah doesn’t like those who give up so easily over something. Whether it is so hard to face those troublesome on you, it is better to don’t give up on it, and so does for staying Istiqamah.

Keep those good deeds daily so may you can reach to stay Istiqamah easily someday. You can also be following that thing by making some Duas for protection from Shirk as it may loosen your strength. As it mentions in the Quran surah Asy-Syura verse 15 below.

“Therefore, call (they believe) and remain (believe and preach) as instructed to you (Muhammad) and do not follow their wishes…”
