Someone who have tawadhu’ will not brag himself to anyone. He always considers and views that others are greater than himself. And someone who have tawadhu’ will accept every truth and submit to that truth. If someone cannot accept a truth that come to him from a weak person, then that person brag himself to Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala because every truth comes from Allah, The Almighty (Al-Haq).

Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala has commanded human to do tawadhu’ and He forbids human to brag their selves in this world.

In the Al-Qur’an Surah Al-Isra verse 37, which reads :

“And do not walk upon the earth exultantly. Indeed, you will never tear the earth [apart], and you will never reach the mountains in height.”

In that verse, Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala has alerted His servants to be not arrogant, because they cannot through the world and reach the mountains in height, so on what basis humans brag their selves?

And indeed, the servants of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala are those who do not brag their selves and walk in humility. As it is said by Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta’ala in the Al-Qur’an Surah Al-Furqan verse 63, which reads :

“And the servants of the Most Merciful are those who walk upon the earth easily, and when the ignorant address them [harshly], they say [words of] peace.”
