He has created man from a clot (a piece of thick coagulated blood).

Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous.

Who has taught (the writing) by the pen.

He has taught man that which he knew not”

2. Learning Helps Us Getting More Blessing From Allah

Allah has promised his believer more blessing for those who are keen to seek knowledge by learning. Realizing the benefits we get by learning, why can’t we just learn and learn more everyday, it would not bring us disadvantages, would it?

Our Prophet (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him) once told about the promise from Allah for Muslim learners in the hadith below.

“God, His angels and all those in Heavens and on Earth, even ants in their hills and fish in the water, call down blessings on those who instruct others in beneficial knowledge.” (Al-Tirmidhi)

3. Use The Ability to Learn As Long As We Live

Have you seen those disable people who aspire knowledge harder than you do? Take an example of some disable people who are success in having a lot of achievement. We, as Muslims, especially who are blessed with the complete body parts should use our ability as maximal as we could.

Allah has told in the Qur’an that we are blessed with such a ability that will help use while learning. Therefore, we should be grateful by utilizing our ability to learn. Take a look at ayah below.

“And Allah has brought you out from the wombs of your mothers while you know nothing. And He gave you hearing, sight, and hearts that you might give thanks (to Allah)” (Qur’an, 16:78) [AdSense-B]

4. Learning Helps Us Speak More

It is so bad to speak nonsense too much. Gibberish is nothing more than just a pointless thought. We should speak more goodness and beneficial things that contain more knowledge. Allah hates those who speak more without reasonable justification as told in the ayah below.

“And follow not (O man, i.e., say not, or do not, or witness not) that of which you have no knowledge. Verily, the hearing, and the sight, and the heart of each of those ones will be questioned (by Allah)” (Qur’an, 17:36)

Laa ilaaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the All‑Mighty, the All-Wise” (Qur’an, 3:18)

6. Learner Has The Higher Status in Hereafter

Believe it, learner deserves a higher degree in front of Allah. It happens because learner has spent so much of his/her life struggling in seeking knowledge. The ayah below told about that.

The superiority of the learned man over the devout is like that of the moon, on the night when it is full, over the rest of the stars. The learned are the heirs of the Prophets, and the Prophets leave neither dinar nor dirham, leaving only knowledge, and he who takes it takes an abundant portion.”  (Sunan Abi Dawud)
