Indeed all days and months are great and no such thing called as a bad month. If some people believe there is a bad day for example by going to a paranormal or a shaman to ask the good moon for marriage in Islam, then it has included as a shirk in Islam and is a major sin in Islam. As the Word of Allah SWT below :
“But if they endeavour to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in (this) world with appropriate kindness and follow the way of those who turn back to Me (in repentance). Then to Me will be your return, and I will inform you about what you used to do.” (QS. Luqman : 15)
Rasulullah SAW said: “Abandon seven (sins) that destroy!” They (the Companions) asked, “O Rasulullah, what is it?” He replied, “Shirk to Allah; magic; kill the soul forbid by Allah except with haq; consuming usury; eat the orphan’s wealth; turned away from the war that raged; accusing adultery against free women who keep their honor, the faithful, and the pure of fornication.” (Narrated by Bukhari and Muslim)
Let us not commit the unforgivable sin. If you want to hold a gratitude or walima then it can actually be done anytime, even in the month of Ramadhan once. The month of Ramadhan is a blessed month where there is a virtue of the night of Lailatul Qadar in it. Also read : virtues of the last 10 days of Ramadhan
The month of Ramadan signifies that Muslims will perform an obligations of Ramadan fasting which is the pillar of Islam during the day. Some people may be reluctant to conduct an event of gratitude in Ramadhan, but it is very good to hold it in the month of Ramadan. For example, if someone want to conduct an aqiqah according to Islam in the month of Ramadhan.
An implementation of aqiqah in Ramadhan is highly recommended since there are a lot of virtues in it, but not in the way that people usually do. If in general, aqiqah implemented with rousing, then indeed it should be implemented simply.
The provision of aqiqah according to the teachings of Rasulullah is only by cutting aqiqah animals and distributing them to neighbors and relatives. In contrast to what most of today’s people who conduct aqiqah in a great fanfare. Also read : virtues of laylatul Qadr Night
This is according to the words of the Prophet SAW, which means,
“Every child is pawned with his aqiqah animals, slaughtered from it on the seventh day, and he is shaved, and named.” (Narrated by Imam Ahmad and Ashhabus Sunan, and validated by Tirmidhi)
The slaughter of animal is also not forced to be done on the seventh day, it could be on another day where the fortune has been there to slaughter since aqiqah’s law in Islam is sunna. Also read : benefits of donation in Islam
“The aqiqah animals was slaughtered on the seventh day, or fourteenth, or the twentieth day.” (Narrated by Baihaqi and Thabrani)
[AdSense-B]
From Ummu Kurz al-Ka’biyah that he once asked Rasulullah SAW about the provisions of aqiqah. So he said,
“Yes, for the sons of two goats and for the daughters of a goat. It does not trouble you either male or female goats. “(Narrated by Ahmad and Tirmidhi, and Tirmidhi validate it in Nailul Authar 5: 149)
Rasulullah SAW said:
“The sunnah is of two goats for boys and one goat for girls. It cooked without breaking It bones. Then it is eaten (by his family), and is given on the seventh day. “(Narrated by Baihaqi from Aishah RA)
From the above theorem, it is clear that aqiqah is done as a form of gratitude to Allah SWT and performed as a form of alms according to Islam. The Apostle has also determined the number of animals for boys and for girls in Islam. For that reason, doing aqiqah in Ramadhan can be performed as a sadaqah for people who break their fast.
“Who is it that would loan Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over? And it is Allah who withholds and grants abundance, and to Him you will be returned.” (QS. Al-Baqarah : 254)
“Indeed, the men who practice charity and the women who practice charity and (they who) have loaned Allah a goodly loan – it will be multiplied for them, and they will have a noble reward.” (QS. Al-Hadid : 18)
“No good is there in much of their private conversation, except for those who enjoin charity or that which is right or conciliation between people. And whoever does that seeking means to the approval of Allah – then We are going to give him a great reward.” (QS. An-Nisa : 114)
From Anas said:
“The Prophet Muhammad SAW asked what is the most important fast after Ramadhan? he said: Syaban fasting to glorify the month of Ramadhan. it says: Shadaqah what is the main thing? he said: shadaqah in the month of Ramadhan.”(Narrated by Tirmidhi)

In addition for the virtue of charity, we also get reward for giving food to those who perform fasting. Rasulullah SAW said:
“Whoever gives iftar to fasting people then for him like their reward without reducing one bit of their reward.” (Narrated by At-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Darimi)
The virtue of alms in the month of Ramadhan is greater than doing it on a normal day since the month of Ramadhan is a blessed month in which every worship is doubled. From Abu Hurairah, Rasulullah sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said, [AdSense-C]
“Every good deed done by human will be multiplied by ten goodnesses such as up to seven hundred times. Allah Ta’ala says (which means), “Except the practice of fasting. The practice of fasting is for Me. I’ll personally respond to it. Because he has left lust and food because of Me. For a fasting person there will be two blisses of happiness when he breaks his fast and is happy when he meets his Rabb. The smell of the mouth of the fasting one is more sweet in the sight of Allah than the smell of kasturi oil.”(Narrated by Bukhari no 1904, 5927 and Muslim No. 1151)
“The night of decree is better that a thousand months.” (QS. Al-Qadr : 3)
Such is the article about aqiqah law during the month of Ramadhan. Carrying out a lot of worship such as alms in Islam is highly recommended when Ramadhan comes. Hopefully every of our deeds in the month of Ramadhan can be accepted by Allah SWT. Aamiin. Also read : importance of the Qur’an in Ramadhan
