1. Recite QS Noah Verse 28

“And seek help (to Allah) with patience and prayer. And (prayer) is really heavy, except for those who are humble, (ie) those who believe, that they will meet their Lord and that they will return to Him.” (QS 2: 45-46)

4. Recite QS Ali Imran Verse 185

“Every living thing will taste death. And only on the Day of Resurrection will you be fully rewarded. Whoever is kept from hell and put into heaven, indeed, he has won. The life of the world is just a deceptive pleasure.” (QS 3:185)

5. Recite QS Ibrahim Verse 41

“How do you disobey Allah, when you were dead, then He gave you life, then He caused you to die, and then He brought you back to life. Then to Him, you will be returned.” (QS 2:28)

7. Recite QS Al Mulk Verses 1-2

Another way to remember that death may come through everyone is reciting the Quran surah Al Mulk verses 1-2. We are indeed permissible to feel grief for so many days, but life must go on.

“Glory be to Allah who rules (all) the kingdom, and He has power over all things. Who created death and life, to test you, which of you is better indeed. And He is Mighty, Most Forgiving.” (QS 67:1-2)
