12 Rewards to Gain with Your Wife after Marriage

Getting married to goodness is highly recommended, for the sake of avoiding adultery which brings great sin at the later time. After marriage, there will be a lot of reward and sustenance in return, especially in Indonesia where women are allowed to help men with jobs, though in order to do so, the permission from the husband is required.

The point is that if someone who likes each other is not married sooner, then at the later time, the relationship will tend to go somewhere near the sin. If you are married, everything you have done with your wife will result to reward. Following below is an explanation of the reward that you can gain with your wife after marriage.

  1. Fulfilling the Rights of Husband and Wife

Anything the couple did before marriage is counted as a sin, or the worst scenario, even approaching adultery, after getting married whatever you have done with your wife will be rewarded. Some cleric in his lectures also often reveals that serving a husband can be seen as a field of reward for the wife.

  1. Paving a Way to Heaven with His Wife

Satan’s whispers are known to be misleading humanity. But, it would be different if the whisper was a whisper of kindness. This whisper arises from the pleasure of Allah for a husband and wife. This is stated in Surah An-Nisa 114:

“No good is there in much of their private conversation, except for those who enjoin charity or that which is right or conciliation between people. And whoever does that seeking means to the approval of Allah, then We are going to give him a great reward.”

  1. Making Your Life Better

The existence of a wife who complements the role of husband will make your life all the better since she can help all your duties. Indirectly, you will enjoy your life more. According to the hadith of Ahr Al-Nusra, Al-Thabarani, Al-Bayhaqi:

“It has been made a pleasure for me from the life of my wife’s world, fragrances, and made the eyes of my heart in prayer.”

  1. Affection

Affection is usually related to Valentine celebrations. However, Islam is not encouraging Muslims to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The kind affection unmarried couples usually exhibit during that day should have been done by husband and wife. There is a hadith that emphasizes it:

“Know that you have the right to your wife and the wife has the right to you. Your right to your wife is that she must not put the person you hate into your bed. Do not let someone you hate come in.”

  1. A Joke between Husband and Wife

In a marriage, a joke between a husband and a wife is considered as an act of worship. And just like other acts of worship, it will certainly bring rewards. Marriage is also believed to bring peace in life.

  1. Beautify the Heart

Spending time with your wife will bring you an abundance of happiness. There is a hadith that says:

“Surely women come in the form of demons and go in the form of demons. If someone among you sees an amazing woman, then you should go to your wife, because it will reject something that is on him (lust).”

  1. A Single Look Results to a Reward

Looking at your wife will get you a reward. Surely, marriage will change many things that used to be a sin before marriage into a reward. A cleric named Hanan Attaki says:

“Looking at your partner is like looking at Ka’ba. And the reward is equal to people who pray for 2 rak’ahs.” (Also read: 12 Dua to Look Beautiful Everyday in Islam)

  1. Learning to be the Best

Having the best partner is the dream of all people in the world. The effort you have done in order to become the best partner will bring a reward. The hadith of Hr. At Tirmidzi says:

“Rasulullah s.a.w said: You are the best husband for your family and I am for my family.”

Being the best husband for your family has become a recommendation from the Prophet. So, trying to be the best partner always gets a reward. (Also read: How To Dress Up for Men According To Islam).

  1. Spared from the Sin

The reward that can be gained with your wife is to be spared from the sin. Surah Al-Baqarah 187 says:

“It has been made permissible for you the night preceding fasting to go to your wives [for sexual relations]. They are clothing for you and you are clothing for them. Allah knows that you used to deceive yourselves, so He accepted your repentance and forgave you. So now, have relations with them and seek that which Allah has decreed for you. And eat and drink until the white thread of dawn becomes distinct to you from the black thread [of night]. Then complete the fast until the sunset. And do not have relations with them as long as you are staying for worship in the mosques. These are the limits [set by] Allah, so do not approach them. Thus does Allah make clear His ordinances to the people that they may become righteous.”

  1. Gaining Rewards Every Day

Doing romantic gestures and skinship with your lawful partner will bring you to reward. On the contrary, if your partner is not lawful yet, all the activities you do with her will bring a sin. So, every day you will be full of merit if you are married.

  1. Charity

The relationship between husband and wife is like charity. This is clearly explained in a hadith. If you have intercourse with a non-lawful partner, you will get a sin, while having intercourse with the lawful one will get you a reward.

12. A Mere Talk Results to a Reward

When your wife confides in you, the talk that builds up between you will result in a reward. Therefore, if you come home from work, stop for a while to listen to your wife, because she must have been waiting to talk to you. As a husband, you should listen to your wife’s heart.

When a husband is with his wife, everything that is done together is a reward. And, also, remember that what God hates is a divorce between husband and wife. Marriage has many rewards for both wife and husband. For young people who are still not lawful, of course, seeing, speaking will bring sin. (Also read: 8 Prayer for Getting Partner and Fortune).
