1. Taught Your Kid to Love Allah Only

Introducing Allah to your child sometimes can be hard tough for the first time. Tell them to love Allah only can be one of the simple ways to do to raise your kid in an Islamic way.

By doing what Allah loves and hates, can be one of the simple ways to give them the example. That can be a real experience for them so they can realize how to love Allah. At that rate, you will teach them indirectly that they get so many benefits from obeying parents in Islam.

As a Muslim, you can do a five-day prayer daily with your child so that they will follow you step by step. This can make your child loves Allah in one or another way. Moreover, in the Quran surah Luqman verse 13 mentions it.

وَاِذْ قَالَ لُقْمٰنُ لِابْنِهٖ وَهُوَ يَعِظُهٗ يٰبُنَيَّ لَا تُشْرِكْ بِاللّٰهِ ۗاِنَّ الشِّرْكَ لَظُلْمٌ عَظِيْمٌ – ١٣

“And (remember) when Lukman said to his son, when he taught him, “O my son! Do not associate partners with Allah, indeed associating partners with (Allah) is a great injustice.” (QS 31:13)

2. Tell Your Kid to Take a Five Day Prayer

A five-day prayer is an obligatory good deed in Islam that is why as a parent you need to know how to teach salah to the toddler. No matter the age of a Muslim, doing a five-day prayer regularly is a must that is unnegotiable. In so many ways, a five-day prayer can make Muslims closer to Allah.

That is why children need to learn how to do a five-day prayer properly such as you taught them how to teach your children about fasting. This can be one of the best ways to raise your child in Islamic ways. Moreover, in the Quran surah Luqman verse 17 is already mentioned.

يٰبُنَيَّ اَقِمِ الصَّلٰوةَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوْفِ وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَاصْبِرْ عَلٰى مَآ اَصَابَكَۗ اِنَّ ذٰلِكَ مِنْ عَزْمِ الْاُمُوْرِ – ١٧

“O, my son! Pray and command (humans) to do what is right and prevent (them) from doing what is wrong and be patient with what befalls you, indeed that is an important matter.” (QS 31:17)

3. Spreads Good Deeds

Raise your kid in an Islamic way always related to the kind things to others. Islam taught every Muslim to always do and spread good deeds. That can be one of the perfect ways to raise your kid about doing good deeds.

On the other hand, by doing the good deed your kid will realize the kindness of Allah for the granted they’ve got. You can tell them to take care of others. You will teach them indirectly about the Islamic values of taking care of abandoned children.

Moreover, in the Quran Luqman verse 16 mentions the rewards of doing good deeds from Allah.

يٰبُنَيَّ اِنَّهَآ اِنْ تَكُ مِثْقَالَ حَبَّةٍ مِّنْ خَرْدَلٍ فَتَكُنْ فِيْ صَخْرَةٍ اَوْ فِى السَّمٰوٰتِ اَوْ فِى الْاَرْضِ يَأْتِ بِهَا اللّٰهُ ۗاِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَطِيْفٌ خَبِيْرٌ – ١٦

“(Lukman said), “O my son! Indeed, if there is (an action) the weight of a mustard seed, and it is in a rock or in the sky or on the earth, Allah will surely give it (reply). Verily Allah is Subtle, All-Aware.” (QS 31:16)

4. Tell Your Kid to Avoid What Allah’s Hate

Telling your kid to avoid what Allah’s hate is pretty similar to teaching them how much you love Allah. Oppositely, you will get them to love Allah more by avoiding Allah’s hate.

As a Muslim, you can do a simple act such as avoid being arrogant to others, speak louder to the elder ones, proudly speaking non-sense, and many more. In the Quran surah Luqman verse 18 is already mentions those things.

وَلَا تُصَعِّرْ خَدَّكَ لِلنَّاسِ وَلَا تَمْشِ فِى الْاَرْضِ مَرَحًاۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَا يُحِبُّ كُلَّ مُخْتَالٍ فَخُوْرٍۚ – ١٨

“And do not turn your face away from people (because of pride) and do not walk the earth arrogantly. Indeed, Allah does not like those who are arrogant and proud.” (QS 31:18)

5. Encourage Your Kid

Encouraging your kid in a good way can be one of the best parenting to do to raise your kid in Islam. By encouraging them, you can make them more confident and grown-up properly in the Islamic way.

Encourage your kid can make your kid be a responsible person. In other words, they will realize their behavior which has consequences in every act they did. يٰٓاَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُوْا رَبَّكُمْ وَاخْشَوْا يَوْمًا لَّا يَجْزِيْ وَالِدٌ عَنْ وَّلَدِهٖۖ وَلَا مَوْلُوْدٌ هُوَ جَازٍ عَنْ وَّالِدِهٖ شَيْـًٔاۗ اِنَّ وَعْدَ اللّٰهِ حَقٌّ فَلَا تَغُرَّنَّكُمُ الْحَيٰوةُ الدُّنْيَاۗ وَلَا يَغُرَّنَّكُمْ بِاللّٰهِ الْغَرُوْرُ – ٣٣

“O, people! Fear your Lord and fear the day when (then) a father cannot help his child, and a child cannot (also) help his father in the slightest. Indeed, Allah’s promise is true, so do not be deceived by the life of this world, and do not be deceived by deceivers in (obeying) Allah.” (QS 31:33)
