اِنَّ اللّٰهَ وَمَلٰۤىِٕكَتَهٗ يُصَلُّوْنَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّۗ يٰٓاَيُّهَا الَّذِيْنَ اٰمَنُوْا صَلُّوْا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوْا تَسْلِيْمًا
“Verily Allah and His angels bless the Prophet. O you who believe, bless you on the Prophet and greet him with great respect.” (QS 33:56)

وَاِذَا حُيِّيْتُمْ بِتَحِيَّةٍ فَحَيُّوْا بِاَحْسَنَ مِنْهَآ اَوْ رُدُّوْهَا ۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَانَ عَلٰى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَسِيْبًا
“If you are honored with an honor (salam), return the honor with something better than it or repay it with what is appropriate. Verily, Allah is Considering of all things.” (QS 4:86)
Finding a blessed life is one of the values of reciting Shalawat in Ramadhan. Most Muslims believe as they do Shalawat during Ramadhan, their life feels like more blessing than before. وَاعْلَمُوْٓا اَنَّ فِيْكُمْ رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ ۗ لَوْ يُطِيْعُكُمْ فِيْ كَثِيْرٍ مِّنَ الْاَمْرِ لَعَنِتُّمْ وَلٰكِنَّ اللّٰهَ حَبَّبَ اِلَيْكُمُ الْاِيْمَانَ وَزَيَّنَهٗ فِيْ قُلُوْبِكُمْ وَكَرَّهَ اِلَيْكُمُ الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوْقَ وَالْعِصْيَانَ ۗ اُولٰۤىِٕكَ هُمُ الرّٰشِدُوْنَۙ
“Know that in your midst is the Messenger of Allah. If he had obeyed you in many ways, you would have been in trouble for sure. However, Allah made you love faith and made (faith) beautiful in your heart and made you hate disbelief, wickedness and disobedience. They are the ones who follow the path of truth.” (QS 49:7)
Most Muslims believe that one of the values of reciting Shalawat in Ramadhan is getting guidance from Allah. Having guidance from Allah becomes the most prestigious ticket for life and the hereafter. Guidance from Allah can vary for Muslims, and one of them could come by doing a regular Shalawat during Ramadhan. Moreover, it is already mentioned in the Quran surah Al Baqarah verse 239 below.
فَاِنْ خِفْتُمْ فَرِجَالًا اَوْ رُكْبَانًا ۚ فَاِذَآ اَمِنْتُمْ فَاذْكُرُوا اللّٰهَ كَمَا عَلَّمَكُمْ مَّا لَمْ تَكُوْنُوْا تَعْلَمُوْنَ
“If you are in a state of fear, pray on foot or by car. Then, when you are safe, remember Allah (salat) as He has taught you what you did not know.” (QS 2:239)
Getting mercy from Allah is one of the values of reciting Shalawat in Ramadhan. Most Muslim believe by doing a regular Shalawat, moreover, during Ramadhan, Allah may give His blessing and mercy. In Islamic law, it is already mentioned that whoever remembers Allah, such as reciting Shalawat, might be the one that gets mercy from Allah. It is already mentioned in the Quran surah Al Hajj verse 40 below.
ۨالَّذِيْنَ اُخْرِجُوْا مِنْ دِيَارِهِمْ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ اِلَّآ اَنْ يَّقُوْلُوْا رَبُّنَا اللّٰهُ ۗوَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ اللّٰهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لَّهُدِّمَتْ صَوَامِعُ وَبِيَعٌ وَّصَلَوٰتٌ وَّمَسٰجِدُ يُذْكَرُ فِيْهَا اسْمُ اللّٰهِ كَثِيْرًاۗ وَلَيَنْصُرَنَّ اللّٰهُ مَنْ يَّنْصُرُهٗۗ اِنَّ اللّٰهَ لَقَوِيٌّ عَزِيْزٌ
“(That is) people who were expelled from their hometowns, without any good reason just because they said, “Our Lord is Allah.” If Allah had not repelled some people with others, monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques where Allah’s name was often mentioned would have been torn down. Indeed, Allah will surely help those who help His (religion). Truly Allah is the Most Powerful, Most Mighty. “ (QS 22:40)
