13 Virtues of Ayatul Kursi In Islam

بسم ٱلله ٱلرحمن ٱلرحيم

ٱلله لآ إله إلا هو ٱلحى ٱلقيوم

لا تأخذه سنة ولا نوم له ما فى ٱلسموٲت وما فى ٱلأر

من ذا ٱلذى يشفع عنده إلا بإذنه يعلم ما بين أيديهم وما خلفهم ولا يحيطون بشىء من علمه إلا بما ش

وسع كرسيه ٱلسموٲت وٱلأرض

ولا يوده حفظهما وهو ٱلعلى ٱلعظيم

Bismillahirrahmanirrahiim

Allahu laa ilaaha illaa huwal hayyul qayyum. Laa ta’khudzuhuu sinatuw wa laa naum. Lahuu maa fis samaawaati wa maa fil ardh. Man dzal ladzii yasyfa’u ‘indahuu illaa bi idznih. Ya’lamu maa baina aidiihim wa maa khalfahum. Wa laa yuhiithuuna bi syai-im min ‘ilmihii illaa bi maa syaa-a. Wasi’a kursiyyuhus samaawaat wal ardha wa laa ya-uuduhuu hifzhuhumaa Wahuwal ‘aliyyul’ azhiim.

Meaning:

“In the name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Allah, there is no God (the righteous) but He is the Eternal Life constantly taking care of (His creatures). Not sleepy and not sleeping. His is what is in the heavens and the earth. No one can give intercession to Allah without His permission. Allah knows what is before them and behind them. And they know nothing of the knowledge of God but what He will. Ayatul Kursi, God covers the heavens and the earth and God does not find it hard to keep both. And Allah is Most High and Most High. “

Thus lafadz and translation of Al-Qur’an Surah Al-Baqarah verse 255 or we used to know as the Ayatul Kursi.

The verse was revealed in Medina one night after the hijra, which was due to the glory and greatness of the Word of Allah Ta’alaa to the point of being sent down thousands of angles accompanying him.

Muhammad Bin Al-Hanafiyah has narrated that when the verse was revealed, all idols on earth fell; the angels beseeching him; the crowns of the great men fall; the rulers dropped their faces to the earth; and the devils run around, collide, overheat, and feel frightened.The verse of Ayatul Kursi is the greatest verse in the Qur’an

1.This is in accordance with the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)

عن أبي هو ابن كعب أن النبي – صلى الله عليه وسلم – سأله أي آية في كتاب الله أعظم قال: الله ورسوله أعلم فرددها مرارا ثم قال: آية الكرسي قال “ليهنك العلم أبا المنذر والذي نفسي بيده إن لها لسانا وشفتين تقدس الملك عند ساق العرش (وقد رواه مسلم .. وليس عنده زيادة والذي نفسي بيده إلخ

Meaning:

“From Ubay ie bin Ka’ab, the Prophet sallallahu’alaihi wa sallam asked him what is the greatest verse in the Book of Allah, he replied,” Allah and His Messenger know better. “He repeated his question several times. Then he replied, “Ayatul Kursi.” So he said, “Congratulations to you, Abu Mundzir with your knowledge. For the sake of my soul which is in his hand. Indeed (Ayatul Kursi) has a mouth and two lips purified by the Angels at the foot of Arsy. “(Muslim)

2. Ayatul Kursi are the most blessed verse

As the words of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)

“The verse of the chair is a blessed verse, no one opens the difficulty, removes the disaster and removes the sadness faster than the Ayatul Kursi ” (Narrated by Imam Abu Hamid Bin Muhammad Al-Gozhali).

3. Ayatul Kursi is the headman of the Qur’an

As the words of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)

“There must be something superior and taller. Surely superior and higher than the Koran is Surat al-Baqarah. And in Surat Al-Baqarah there is a verse that is headman Ayat-ayat Al-Quran, He is the Ayatul Kursi “

4. The verse of the chair is the most important and noble verse

He was asked again “Which verse of Surat Al-Baqarah is the most important? Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) answered “The Ayatul Kursi and the end of the letter of Al-Baqarah which descends directly from under the Throne”

5. The Ayatul Kursi is an opening verse for all distress

Where when the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) never ceases to dhikr with the Ayatul Kursi, so many victories have been achieved in the battle and have many doors of convenience have been opened by Allah SWT for Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)

Rasulullah said,

“Whoever learns the Ayatul Kursi and knows his righteousness God will open the 8 doors of heaven for him, enter any door that is welcome”

6. In the Tawhid Uluhiyah, Ubudiyah and Rububiyah, the Ayatul Kursi is a verse to sanctify God, and for those who practice it, Allah will sanctify them

Rasulullah Shalallahu Alaihi Wassalam once said:

“By the substance that my soul is in His grip, this Ayatul Kursi has 1 tongue and two lips. The guarding angels of Arsy have always sanctified it “. (H.R. At-Tirmidhi)

7. Those who like to read Ayatul Kursi are tantamount to deepening the science of monotheism

Why? Because of that paragraph there is the phrase of unity “La ilaha Illaa Huwa.” People who have a good monotheism, it is because there is the guarantee of heaven.

Word of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)

“God says” sentence laailaha illa is my protection, those who fall into my protection he will be saved from the torment of Me “

8. As a help for Muslims

9. For the protection of His servants

Allah promises protection and security for those who read the Ayatul Kursi. so that they can avoid all forms of evil, especially the disturbance that comes from the jin and syaitan like Ruqyah process by reading the Ayatul Kursi.

Rasulullah Shalallahu Alaihi Wassalam said:

“If you go to bed (at night), read the Ayatul Kursi, Allah will always keep you and the devil will not approach you until the morning” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari)

10. Ayatul Kursi provide many benefits

As in the case of medicine, and Rasulullah Shalallahu Alaihi Wassalam never said:

“Whoever reads the Ayatul Kursi while performing cupping, then the benefits are very great, 2 times compared to the usual bruises without reciting Ayatul Kursi “

11. Remove the ugliness

By practicing the verse of the chair, all evils will be erased, and the angels will be sent by Allah SWT to record all their good deeds and wipe away all its ugliness until the next day.

12. Those who read verses of seats will be able to fortify themselves

As the words of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said that Allah (swt) has spoken,

“‘Laa ilaaha illallah is my stronghold. Whoever reads it, he enters into my fortress. And whoso entereth in My strongholds he shall be safe from My torment “

13. Full of karomah

That’s some virtues Ayatul Kursi that can be our concern to keep practicing it. Many fortune we can achieve, it’s just that we are lazy to practice it, by knowing these virtues hopefully we can continue to remember and want to practice it continuously.
