Ramadhan is a month whereas all Islam ummat has been waited. The special of Ramadhan comparing with the other months is located in the abundant rewards due to the Ramadhan fasting which is compulsory.

There are virtues of reciting Al-Qur’an in Ramadhan and we are recommended to read Al-Qur’an every day, such as:
Abu Umamah Al-Bahili radhiallahu ‘anhu mentioned that Rasulullah SAW said,
” Please read Al-Qur’an. Because it (Al-Qur’an) will come at the doomsday as the blessing thing for those who are often to read it.” (HR. Muslim 804)

Prophet of Muhammad SAW mentioned,
” Both fasting and reading Al-Qur’an will give a blessing to someone who do it at the doomsday.” (HR. Ahmad and Al-Hakim).
2. Be blessed
Abu Umamah Al-Bahili radhiallahu ‘anhu saidt that he heard that once Rasulullah SAW mentioned,”
Please read the two flowers which is Al-Baqarah and Ali Imran.”
Both of them will coming at the doomsday as if as both of it are two big clouds or two big bunch of birds that will defends for those who are often to read it. Please read Al-Baqarah, indeed, by implementing it is blessed, leaving it will be lost and spell will not able to break it. (HR. Muslim 804).

An-Nawwas bin Sam’an Al-Kilabi radhiallahu ‘anhu said,
” I heard Rasulullah SAW said,” It will come Al-Qur’an at the doomsday and those who are often to read it and implement it, the first is Al-Baqarah and Ali Imran, both of it will defend for those who are diligent to read it.” (HR. Muslim 805)
3. Getting lesson
As Allah SWT :
كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَٰرَكٌ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
“It is a holy book which is revealed to you with full of blesses, so you are notice its verses and get the lesson for those who are thinking.” (QS. Shad:29)

4. Be good ummat
‘Utsman bin ‘Affan radhiallahu ‘anhu mentioned that Rasulullah SAW said,
” The best from all of you is those who are studying Al-Qur’an and teaching it.” (Al-Bukhari 5027)

5. Double rewards
Ummul Mu`minin ‘Aisyah said that Rasulullah SAW said,”
(( الَّذِي يَقْرَأُ القُرْآنَ وَهُوَ مَاهِرٌ بِهِ مَعَ السَّفَرَةِ الكِرَامِ البَرَرَةِ، وَالَّذِي يَقْرَأُ الْقُرْآنَ وَيَتَتَعْتَعُ فِيهِ وَهُوَ عَلَيْهِ شَاقٌّ لَهُ أجْرَانِ )) متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ
“Those who are reading Al-Qur’an and good in it, he will together with the saint angels. Those who read Al-Qur’an but not precisely in reading it and having difficulties then he will get two rewards.” (Al-Bukhari 4937, Muslim 244).

” Whoever reading one letter from the holy book of Al-Qur’an, he shall get one goodness and it will be rewarded with ten times of it.” (HR. At-Tirmidzi).
Abu Hurairah ra explained that the meaning of Rasulullah SAW ,
” Those who are hearing one verse of the holy book of Allah Ta’ala (Al-Qur’an), he shall get double rewards. Indeed, those who are reading of it, he will get light at the doomsday.”
6. Away from hypocritical attitude
Abu Musa Al-Asy’ari radhiallahu ‘anhu mentioned that Rasulullah SAW said,
” The parable for a mu’min that is diligent in reading Al-Qur’an likes Al-Atrujah fruit: it has a good smell and it taste good. The parable to a mu’min which dislikes reading Al-Qur’an is like a tamr (kurma) fruit: it does not have a fragrance but it has a good taste.
The parable of hypocritical but he is diligent in reading Al-Qur’an likes a Raihanah fruit: it has a good fragrance but bitter. While a parable to describe of Hippocratic which is dislike to read Al-Qur’an is like a Hanzhalah fruit: it does not have a fragrance and it is bitter.” (Al-Bukhari 5427, Muslim 797).
There is no good deed inside of hypocritical person. Hypocritical is a person who shown himself as a muslim but his heart is infidel – wal’iyya dzubillah-. This community is being warned by Allah SWT as it is stated on his amendment,
” Among of the all human, there is saying: “We are godly to Allah SWT and to the end of day” while honestly they are not a devout people. They like to deceive Allah SWT and all devout people at the same time they also deceive themselves unconsciously. They grow a disease inside their heart; and will be tortured sadly because of their lying.” (QS. Al-Baqarah: 8-10)
7. Get a tranquil soul
Prophet of Muhammad SAW said,
” When a group of people are gathering in the house of Allah SWT and they are reading His holy book and discussing it, they shall be smothered with serenity, be poured of bounty, covered by the angels, and be flattered by Allah SWT in front of all His creatures.” (HR. Abu Dawud)

8. Giving a crown to parents at the doomsday
Rasulullah SAW said,
” Those who are reading Al-Qur’an and implementing it appropriate with its content, both of his parents will be rewarded a crown at the doomsday. The light (the crown) is better than from the sun light from the entire house in the world. Thus, the sun is at your house (filled with its glowing), there is no reason to denial for those who implemented it (Al- Qur’an)”. (HR. Abud Daud).
9. Lifted up His level
Rasulullah SAW spoke which is intended to the reader of Al-Qur’an:
“Be read (Al-Qur’an, lifted up (upgrade His level at heaven) and read it with the correct pronunciation as if as you are reading it with others. Indeed, your level position is located at the last verse you are read.”(HR. Ahmad).
10. Get rewards of charity
Rasulullah SAW said,
” Those who like to read Al-Qur’an openly is like people who does charity in openly too, those who like to read Al-Qur’an in secretly is like people who does charity in secretly.” (HR.Abu Dawud, Tirmidzi and Nasa’I, look shahihul jaami’: 3105).
11. Being a family of Allah SWT
Rasulullah SAW,
“Honestly, Allah SWT is having family from the human kind. Rasulullah SAW been asked,’ who are they dear Rasulullah?’ He answered,’ They are Ahlul Qur’an and they are the family of Allah SWT and His special family.” (HR. Ahmad and Ibnu Majah).
12. Be the bright in life
Prophet of Muhammad SAW said,
” I inherit you to always be Godly to Allah SWT and Al-Qur’an. Honestly, He is the light in the dark, guidance at the noon, thus, read it in from the heart.” (HR. Baihaqi).
13. Being a medicine
Rasulullah SAW told,
” You shall use both of medicines like honey and Al-Qur’an.” (HR. Ibnu Majah and Ibnu Mas’ud).
