Miraculous Benefit of Taraweeh Prayer
Taraweeh prayer is a sunnah prayer which is done in Ramadhan .By performing fasting Ramadhan and taraweeh prayer, we can get many advantages and virtues (read: fasting Ramadhan and its intercession, the virtues of taraweeh prayer).
Laws of Taraweeh prayer in Ramadhan is muakkad sunnah means that it is very recommended as its value as the night prayer or other qiyamul lail such as Tahajjud prayer (read: tahajjud prayer in Ramadhan, benefit of tahajjud and virtues of tahajjud).
مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيْمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ متفق عليه.
“Those who are maintain his night praye during Ramadhan because Imam and getting rewards from Allah SWT, indeed, he will be forgiven all of his past sins.” (Hadidh Muttafaq alaih).
نَّ رَمَضَانَ شَهْرٌ فَرَضَ الله صِيَامَهُ وَإِنِّيْ سَنَنْتُ لِلْمُسْلِمِيْنَ قِيَامَهُ، فَمَنْ صَامَهُ وَقَامَهُ إِيْمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا خَرَجَ مِنَ الذُّنُوْبِ كَيَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ خرجه النسائي، وقال: الصواب عن أبي هريرة
“Indeed, Ramadhan is a month whereas I am mandate to do fasting and it is sunnah of its night prayers. Those who are implementing fasting and night prayer at the month because of Imam and expecting rewards from Allah SWT, he will get freedom from all his sins as if as he was born.” (HR. Abu Hurairah).
There are many Virtues of taraweeh prayer and we will get intercession of taraweeh prayer every night in differences such as from body health, soul and faith.
Benefit of Physical
There are some benefits if we are doing taraweeh prayer in routine during Ramadhan:
- Make bones and hinges become healthy
Taraweeh is one prayer which consists of several rakaats. It is believed that by doing taraweeh prayer, the movement of our prayer can help to make our bones and hinges healthier.
- Reduce glucose
During breakfasting time, we are usually consuming sweet food or drink which is danger for our body especially those who have diabetes. The sweet food and drink can increase our glucose faster and has bad impact to our body. Taraweeh is one of activities whereas its movement is very useful to reduce the glucose after breakfasting.

During Ramadhan we can select taraweeh as one of activities to burn calories due to the limited time to do sport. To burn calories from the food and drink at the breakfasting time, we can do a taraweeh prayer. Aside of exercise at night, we can also get the rewards of doing night prayer as well.

By doing taraweeh in routine every night, it is believed can improve our brain function and maintain food nutrition which is needed by our brain so it can work optimally. We are recommended to following the Imam instruction and movement until it is finished and so we can get the benefit as if as we are doing a whole night prayer rewards.
مَنْ قَامَ مَعَ الإِمَامِ حَتَّى يَنْصَرِفَ كُتِبَ لَهُ قِيَامُ لَيْلَةٍ )) رواه أصحاب السنن
“Those who are establish a night prayer with an Imam until it is finished, it will recorded his prayer as if as he is prayer a whole night prayer.”
