Marriage considered as one of the most sacred thing that Muslim who is getting married to another Muslim means he has fulfill half of the religion. When two Muslims are tying the knots in front of Allah, He will shower them with love, blessing, and happiness for the rest of their life.
Because whoever getting married means they have distanced themselves from committing sins. More than that, Islam suggest Muslims to get married at young age. As early marriage bring more benefits not only to the couples’ live but also to their family and their religion. Here are the benefits of early marriage in Islam:
1. Have More Time to Know Each Other Better
Getting married earlier means more time to know each other. As you married at such young age, Insya Allah there will be more time to spent with your life partner. We understand our partner more because we have lived with them for a long time, so we become more cooperating to them.
2. Feeling the Love of Mercy from Allah
Allah SWT promised love and mercy to whoever getting married early. As said in the Holy Quran,
“And one of His signs is that He has created for you, spouses from amongst yourselves so that you might take comfort in them and He has placed between you, love and mercy. In this there is surely evidence (of the truth) for the people who carefully think.” – Ar Rum (30:21)
3. Having Both the Physical and Spiritual Chastity
Chastity considered as one of the most important thing in Islam. A good Muslim should be able to guard their chastity until they get married. By marrying early, a Muslim is guarding his chastity well.
“And they who guard their private parts. Except from their wives or those their right hands possess, for indeed, they will not be blamed.” – Al Mu’minoon (23:5-6)
4. Living a Blessing Life
A couple who are married in the name of Allah will be guaranteed His blessing throughout their life.
“And marry those among you who are single (i.e. a man who has no wife and the woman who has no husband) and (also marry) the Salihun (pious, fit and capable ones) of your (male) slaves and maid-servants (female slaves). If they be poor, Allah will enrich them out of His Bounty. And Allah is All-Sufficient for His creatures’ needs, All-Knowing (about the state of the people).” – An Nur (24:32)
5. Rewarded Greatly by Allah SWT
For a man, working for his family, struggling to feed his wife and children is a good deed that greatly rewarded by Allah SWT. As our Prophet (SAW) said,
“No man earns anything better than that which he earns with his own hands, and what a man spends on himself, his wife, his child and his servant then it is charity.” – Ibn Majah

6. Protected from the SexualTemptation
Marriage is a great protection of sexual desires. As human undeniably has that kind of desires when they see the opposite sex, Islam suggest Muslim to get married early, to prevent them from committing sins because they can’t handle the sexual desires well.
7. Adapting the Marriage Life Better
As you get married in such a young age, you are growing up together with your husband or wife, which is a good thing so that you can adapt well to the marriage life. Living after marriage is not an easy thing, so that is requires compromise from both sides.
8. Have More Time to Raise the Children
Starting the marriage in a young age and having children afterwards means we have more time to raise our kids. As early as we start, we will still quite young while our kids has all grown ups.
“O’ mankind! Have consciousness of your Lord who has created you from a single soul. From it He created your spouse and through them He populated the land with many men and women. Have spiritual awareness of the One by whose Name you swear to settle your differences and have respect for the wombs that bore you. Without doubt, Allah (SWT) keeps watch over you all.” – An Nisa (4:1)
9. Being Obedience to Allah
Islam encourage marriage to every Muslim who is capable of doing so. It has become a sunnah in Islam, as the Prophet said,
“O young people! Whoever among you is able to marry, should marry.” – Bukhari
10. Guarantee of Righteous Offspring
Raising the children in the path of Allah SWT will be greatly rewarded. The degree of faithful children who always send their prayer to their parents are similar with giving charity. As said by the Prophet,
“When a person dies his deeds discontinue, except for three things: Ongoing charity, knowledge which people benefit from, and a righteous son who prays for him.” – Muslim
