How does Islam see about this matter? In the Islamic culture, to make everything polish in a good way is to make a Dua for it as the Duas to keep away from sin. That is why here we have some Duas to avoid anger in Islam based on the Quranic verses.
Allah mentions in this verse that people who capable hold their anger is the one who loves. Recite this verse so that you remember should hold your anger whenever and wherever it takes.
“And hasten you seek forgiveness from your Lord and get heaven as vast as the heavens and the earth provided for those who fear Allah, (ie) people who act, both in the field of time and narrow, and people who hold back their anger and forgive (mistakes) others. And Allah loves those who do good,” (QS 3:133-134)
Becomes patient is an effective way to hold our anger. But, being patient also as hard as hold the anger itself. Recite the verse form the Quran surah Al Anfal 126 Insyaallah will help you.
It will lower your tension as the verse you recite sincerely come to your heart.
And you do not take revenge on us, but because we have faith in the verses of our Lord when they came to us. ” (They pray), “O our Lord, bestow patience on us and shut us down in a Muslim state (surrender to You).” (QS 7:126)
Allah mentions that He creates humans with a trial, whether it is a happy moment or the bad one. The fact, we have struggled the most with the anger when a bad thing comes to us. Instead of making it depressingly and surround with anger, it is better to make Dua for it as the Islamic way to find peace.
Such as recite verses of the Quran surah Al Baqarah 155-156.
“And We will surely test you with a little fear, hunger, lack of wealth, soul, and fruit. And deliver good tidings to those who are patient, (ie) those who, when afflicted by disaster, they say “Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji‘un” (indeed we belong to Allah and to Him we return). “ (QS 2: 155-156)
You will face at least one of the complicated person in your daily life. If you couldn’t handle your anger to be more patient, it will make you feel more devastating. Besides, you need to be the one who cooling down your anger first if others don’t.
That is why recite the Quran surah Al Baqarah verse 250 is important to keep you patient.
“And as they advanced against Jalut and his army, they prayed, “O our Lord, bestow patience upon us, confirm our steps and help us face the disbelievers.” (QS 2: 250)
Allah mentions that you are permissible to have revenge on others that may cause you anger. But, it would be better to be a patient person than do revenge.
Revenge will just waste your time and Allah loves them who keep their patience among others.
“And if you reply, then reply with (reply) the same as the torture inflicted on you. But if you are patient, that’s actually better for those who are patient. And be patient (Muhammad) and your patience is sole with the help of Allah and do not grieve over their (disbelief) and do not (also) narrow your chest against the deception that they planned.” (QS 16: 126-127)
