The holy of Ramadhan is the nineth month in the lunar year, it’s the month which Allah revealed the Quran as a guidance for the whole mankind. The Ramadhan has Laylaat Al-Qodr, a night wh`ich is better than a thousand months. The gates of heaven are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and the devils are tied up and the reward for good deeds, acts of charity and acts of worship are multiplied while in Ramadhan. Allah says in Quran :
“The month of Ramadan in which was revealed the Quran, a guidance for mankind and clear proofs for the guidance and the criterion (between right and wrong). (He wants that you) must complete the same number (of days), and that you must magnify Allaah [to say Takbeer (Allaahu Akbar: Allaah is the Most Great)] for having guided you so that you may be grateful to Him.”
Fasting in holy of Ramadhan is one of the five Pillars of Islam, Allah has made fasting whole of Ramadhan obligatory upon children (must baligh), teenagers until adult Muslim who is able to fast and for women who has menstruation, or postnatal bleeding (nifas) should not to fasting. 1. Intention (Niyyat) of the month of Holy Ramadhan
Niyyat is the most important factor before we do fasting in whole of Ramadhan. The law of read niyyat before do fasting is fard for Muslims and niyyat also listed in Pillars of Fasting. If we don’t read niyyat in the whole of holy Ramadhan it could be Mubah.
The Prophet Muhamad was saying in hadith.”The Muslim should resolve in his heart that he is going to fast tomorrow. It is not prescribed for him to utter it out loud and say, “I intend to fast” or “I will fast tomorrow” or other phrases that have been innovated by some people. The correct intention is when a person resolves in his heart that he is going to fast tomorrow.”This hadith clearly commands Muslims to read niyyat before fast tomorrow and it’s also fard for Muslim who did fasting in holy Ramadhan. 2. The Reward of Fard

Regarding Ramadhan, the Prophet (SAW) is reported to have said:“…Whoever draws nearer (to Allah) by performing any of the (optional) good deeds in (this month) shall receive the same reward as performing an obligatory deed at any other time, and whoever discharges an obligatory deed in (this month) shall receive the reward of performing seventy obligations at any other time… ” (Narrated by Tabarani)

3. Taraweeh Prayer
Taraweeh prayer is emphasised Sunnah of the Prophet Muhamad SAW during the month of Ramadan. The time for Taraweeh prayer is between Isha and Fajr. Usually taraweeh prayer performed 8 rakkahs followed by three rakkahs of witr. But there’re other opinion like some scholars opted for a different number of rakahs Imam Ahmad, Imam Abu Haneefah and Imam al-Shaafa’i said one should pray 20 instead of 8. Imam Maalik said it is thirty-six.
However there is no authentic hadith to support 20 , 36 or unlimited number.This proof is hadith of Abu Salamah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahmaan, who asked ‘Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her),“How did the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pray during Ramadan?”
She said: “He did not pray more than eleven rak’ahs in Ramadan or at other times. He would pray four, and do not ask how beautiful and long they were, then he would pray four, and do not ask how beautiful and long they were, then he would pray three.
I said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, will you sleep before you pray Witr?’
He said, ‘O ‘Aa’ishah, my eyes sleep but my heart does not.’”

3. Increasing zikr
In holy of Ramadhan are Muslims chance to get much rewards. Once to get reward is do zikr. Zikr is the remembrance of God, like the Prophet Muhamad says in hadith :“Those who engage in remembering Allah on the days of Ramadan are cleansed of their sins, and those who wish from Allah are not left empty-handed”Those hadith explain that holy of Ramadhan is a season when Allah is remembered often and prayers are said in abundance. Believers who fast throughout Ramadan pass their nights and days remembering Allah. 5. Do daily activity
Other ways to make fasting easier, we must do daily activity like normal. Did an activity such as; sweeping, mopping, watering garden, cooking, etc could distract from hungry and thirsty. Do daily activity in Ramadhan is like do good deeds . And all activity that we do in Ramadan, all gets rewards. Besides those activity, go to work even go to school in whole of Ramadan are also good deeds. Try to going to works or school earlier than before, it would help you to push your appetit. If we just waitting the breaking fast time comes, it will be easy to hungry and thirsty.

6. Enough time to sleep
While fasting, the time to take a rest could be messy, because we should get up at midnight approach morning. This activity make the sleep’s time less than before. The bad news is if we loose our sleep’s time it will increase our appetit until breaking fast time. So, just take a nap for a while.

7. Do simple workout
Do a workout while in holy Ramadhan it was not a threat. Doing a simple work out after Subh or before the breaking fast times in 2-3 hours, it couldn’t make you thirsty or hungry. Choose an easy work out example; walking around at city park. The good news is if we did this it won’t over too hungry or push you to eat more.
8. The correct time to breaking fastThe narrated from Sahl ibn Sa’d that the Messenger of Allah SWT said:
“The people will continue to be fine so long as they hasten to break their fast.”
Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1856; Muslim, 1098.This hadeeth means that we are encouraged to hasten to break the fast after ascertaining that the sun has indeed set. What this means is that the ummah’s affairs will continue to be in order and they will be fine so long as they adhere to this Sunnah. So it is not correct to delay it deliberately until later in the evening or to delay it until the end of the adhaan.

9. Dates the sunnah of Prophet Muhamad SAW The Prophet said:
“Break your fast by eating dates as it is purifying,” (Ahmad).On the basis of this Hadith, Muslims insist on breaking their fasts with dates. However, in another Hadith, the Prophet said;“If you have a date, break your fast with it, if you don’t have it, break the fast with water as it is purifying.”
(Abu Dawood)The date is also referred to in the Holy Qur’an as one of the blessings that would be offered in Paradise.
In several traditions the Prophet ate dates with some other fruits and vegetables. When we ate dates while in break fast or sahur, we do sunnah of the Prophet Muhamad SAW. Date fruits also have many nutrition to fullfill our energy that loose in whole day.
10. Blessing of Pre-Dawn Meal The Prophet of Muhamad said :
“Eat suhur, for there are blessings in it.” (Recorded by al-Bukhari and Muslim)
Allah’s Messenger, peace be upon him, also said:“Taking the pre-dawn meal in Ramadhan is a blessing, so do not leave it, even by drinking a mouthful of water. For Allah, the Noble and the Mighty, and His angels send blessing over those who have taken the pre-dawn meal.” (Ahmad)
Those hadist command us Muslims to take the pre-dawn meal even it’s difficult. Tips for you to get up in pre-dawn meal is setting your alarm, did Tahajud prayers before take the meals. Our Prophet Muhammad commands to all Muslims to take the meals presently. This hadith narrated by Sahl ibn Saud said;
“May Allah be pleased with him, used to take suhur meals with his family and then hurry to present himself at the dawn. (Recorded by al-Bukhari)

11. Don’t sleep after take Suhur
Some people actually take sleep after take Suhur or even after Subh prayer. This’s not recommended and it’s bad for our body. Because the effects are could make tired/moody at work even school. There’s a tips for you,
it’s recommend stay awake for a minimum of 3 hours after suhoor to pray Fajr, read Quran and get 1-3 important tasks of your day done. After that you’re “allowed” to sleep or take naps to prepare yourself up before work/school or delay the nap to just before or after Dhuhr.

12. Do social activity
In the holy of Ramadan it’s right time to do social activity. Try to inviting friends or families for breaking fast together in your home. Besides keep the ukhuwah kinship between us, we also got rewards because praise the people who is fasting in holy month of Ramadhan. Give foods and compensation to poor-people are a good deeds. Many Muslims did this activity just for get the rewards.
13. Multiple the science of religion
Don’t wasting your time while Ramadan with over slept. Take your time with goals checklist to make you focus againts what are you want to do. (Narrated by Abdullah bin Umar)The Prophet said, “Whoever was in Itikaf with me should stay in Itikaf for the last ten days, for I was informed (of the date) of the Night (of Qadr) but I have been caused to forget it. (In the dream) I saw myself prostrating in mud and water in the morning of that night. So, look for it in the last ten nights and in the odd ones of them.”It rained that night and the roof of the mosque dribbled as it was made of leaf stalks of date-palms. I saw with my own eyes the mark of mud and water on the forehead of the Prophet ( in the morning of the twenty-first).
