Moderation in Islam is closely related to balance, justice, and tolerance; as justice implies balancing rights and duties and setting everything in its rightful places. The moderate, just and correct action in any given situation often involves the balancing various concerns and seeking the middle ground between them.
Wahb ibn Munnabih, may Allah have mercy on him, said in the hadith: “Verily, everything has two ends and a middle. If you hold one of the ends, the other will be skewed. If you hold the middle, the two ends will be balanced. You must seek the middle ground in all things.”
Islam teaches us to be moderate and balanced in all aspects of life, whether it’s religion, worship, relationship, ideas or daily activities. Principled moderation is one of the defining characteristics of a good character in Islam. Here all information about moderation in Islam just checks it out.

Moderation in Islam has some major Principal which must obeyed, as follows:
1. Justice
The meaning of justice are varied, some say that fair is equal, balanced and puts something in place. Here are the Quranic verses that explain about justice;
( Verse 2: 282-283) “O ye who believe! When ye contract a debt for a fixed term, record it in writing. Let a scribe record it in writing between you in (terms of) equity. No scribe should refuse to write as Allah hath taught him, so let him write, and let him who incurreth the debt dictate, and let him observe his duty to Allah his Lord, and diminish naught thereof. But if he who oweth the debt is of low understanding, or weak, or unable himself to dictate, then let the guardian of his interests dictate in (terms of) equity. And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men are not (at hand) then a man and two women, of such as ye approve as witnesses, so that if the one erreth (through forgetfulness) the other will remember. And the witnesses must not refuse when they are summoned.
Be not averse to writing down (the contract) whether it be small or great, with (record of) the term thereof. That is more equitable in the sight of Allah and surer for testimony, and the best way of avoiding doubt between you; save only in the case when it is actual merchandise which ye transfer among yourselves from hand to hand. In that case, it is no sin for you if ye write it not. And have witnesses when ye sell one to another and let no harm be done to scribe or witness. If ye do (harm to them) lo! it is a sin to you. Observe your duty to Allah. Allah is teaching you. And Allah is the knower of all things.” (2:282)
Then the other Quran Verses said that:
“If ye be on a journey and cannot find a scribe, then a pledge in hand (shall suffice). And if one of you entrusted to another let him who is trusted deliver up that which is entrusted to him (according to the pact between them) and let him observe his duty to Allah his Lord. Hide not testimony. He who hideth it, verily his heart is sinful. Allah is Aware of what ye do.” (2:283)
2. Balance
Balance means giving something to their rights, without any addition or subtraction and balance will not be achieved without discipline. As in the verse Quran 55: 7. It’s explained that “And the sky He hath uplifted; and He hath set the measure.”

3. Tolerance
Tolerance is an attitude of mutual respects between people, both against Muslims and non-Muslims. Here the principle of tolerance ensures the creation of a peaceful and harmonious life, which reflects Islam as a peaceful and reconciling religion. The example of tolerant attitude done by Rasulullah SAW is when Rasulullah building the society of Madinah which at that time there are 3 groups of the community; namely Islam, Jews, and Christians. They mutually work together in building the city of Medina, in this case only the mundane aspects, not religious matters.

1. Religion
Moderation in religion means to follow the example of the Prophet SAW and does not to trying to do more than he did, go beyond the limit set by Allah and that one does not reach that level and falls short of the limit set by Allah. Here, the example of the moderation in religion.
[A man says] “I want to spend all night in prayer (qiyaam al-layl) and never sleep all my life because prayer is one of the best acts of worship, so I want to spend the entire night in prayer.”That what the main says is not right, this’s going to extremes in the religion of Allah. The Prophet Muhammad SAW said that “Whoever overlooks my Sunnah does not belong to me.” That man has gone to extremes in religion and so the Messenger (peace and blessings Allah be upon him) disowned him because he overlooked his Sunnah which includes praying at night and never sleep all his life.
2. Worship
“O, you who have believed, when you rise to (perform) prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves.But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe your faces and hands with it. Allah does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful” (Quran Verse 5:6)
This Quran is explained about did wudhu before doing the obligation of five prayers. While we on a journey or ill we can do tayamum like in above verse said about.

3. Dealing with others
Our Prophet Muhammad SAW acted as a role model in every aspect of life and always at the top of good manners while dealing with others. Allah SWT describes His, The Messenger mannerism in the Holy Quran as: “So, be mercy from Allah, [O, Muhammad], you were lenient with them. And if you had been rude [in speech] and harsh in heart, they would have disbanded from about you. So pardon them and ask forgiveness for them and consult them in the matter. And when you have decided, then rely upon Allah. Indeed, Allah loves those who rely upon Him.”(Quran Verse 3:159)
4. Belongings
“But seek, through that which Allah has given you, the home of the Hereafter; and [yet], do not forget your share of the world. And do good as Allah has done well to you. And desire not corruption in the land. Indeed, Allah does not like corrupters.” (Quran Verse 28:77)
That’s verse has told us why Zakah (charity) has been made obligatory to perform so that the love of worldly possessions could be moderated through it.
5. Life’s points of view
Islam is moderate in the way it looks at the worldly life, as it between those who consider it as everything by saying “There’s no other life but our present life of this world, and never shall we be resurrected (on the Day of Resurrection).
”Islam, in that respect, considers life complementary between the worldly life and the hereafter, as the former is the ride to the later. The Prophet Muhammad SAW used to use the boons of worldly life and he never prohibited them, yet, that wasn’t his first concern nor the focus of his thoughts. His supplication was: “O Allah, don’t make the worldly life the greatest of our interest. O Allah doesn’t make the worldly life the extent of our knowledge.”

There are many of example that we can follow from our Prophet SAW. Like this first example, while the corpses of the Jewish body passed by, the Messenger of Allah stood up (in honor). Friends of the protest “O Messenger of God but he is a Jew?” The Prophet replied, “Is not he human?” On the other hand, even when the Messenger of Allah was asked about giving material aid to non-Muslims. “Can we give help to the Jews?” Ask friends to Rasulullah SAW. “Yes, because they are also God’s creatures and God will receive our alms”, replied Rasulullah SAW while proud of his friend’s initiative.
The second example, at that time Rasulullah SAW decided a dispute between Abu Bakr and Rabiah Al-Salami about the land in which there is a sloping date-fruits tree. The stem in the land of Rabiah, and a branch in the land of Abu Bakr and each admitted that the tree is his own. Then at that time, the Messenger of Allah decides that the branch belongs to the one who owns the tree trunk.

Here is a similar example, like the example of moderation as in the time of the Prophet SAW which is the life of religious tolerance in West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. The life of tolerance here is exactly the same as Prophet Muhammad SAW when built the city of Medina with the three greatest peoples; Muslims, Jews, and Christians. This pattern of tolerance should be imitated by the rest of the world. The concept of moderation in Islam is to allow the straight path to Allah in Islam. In facts Satan who sets up his partners along the straight path to call people away from it. With a renewed understanding of the Islamic teaching, Muslims can help the many rising tides of extremism that threaten not only the Muslim community but all humanity. It is not easy for us humans to avoid the instigation of demons, but with a strong desire and always pray to Allah ta’ala, Insyaaallah we will be kept away from the whisper of demons and we will be in the way of Allah, the right way. Hopefully, with information about this moderation, we can always create a peaceful and harmonious life. Remember that Islam is a peaceful religion as the Prophet Muhammad has taught us. It is now time for us Muslims to continue what Prophet Muhammad taught in moderation to Islam.
