1. Cover all of the body except face and hands
There is the first rule that Muslim women should know. It is mentioned in the Quran that women should hide their beauty. In Islam, women’s clothing should cover all parts of his body except his face and his hands. Here is one of the following Quranic verses.
“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands or fathers or husbands’ fathers, or their sons or their husbands’ sons, or their brothers or their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack vigour, or children who know naught of women’s nakedness. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah together, O believers, in order that ye may succeed.”
(Verse 24:31)
2. The women should not wear thin dress

Here is the following hadith.
Abu Dawud narrated that ‘A’ishah said,
“Asma came to see the Messenger of Allah (saws). She was wearing a thin dress; the Prophet (saws) turned away from her and said to her: “O Asma, once a woman reaches the age of puberty no part of her body should be uncovered except her face and hands.”
3. Clothes are to filter out the beauty of women

This is the following hadith. Fudalah Ibn ‘Ubaid reported that the Prophet (saws) said,
“There are three people that you should not concern yourself with: a man who parted from the Jama’ah and disobeyed his imam and died in that state; a slave who ran away from his master and died without returning; a woman whose husband departed from her after providing for her worldly needs and who then beautified (tabarruj) herself in his absence. Do not worry about any of them.” (Ahmad)
4. Tabarruj associated with shirk
Tabarruj is all things that include all disgusting acts so as to relate to shirk, fornication, theft, and other sins.Below here is the following hadith.
‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar said,
“A woman came to the Messenger of Allah (saws) to give her pledge for Islam. He said: “I accept your pledge that you will not associate partners with Allah, nor steal, nor fornicate, nor kill your child, nor commit a sin between your arms and legs, nor wail over the dead, nor beautify and display yourself (tatabarraji) after the fashion of the pre-Islamic days.” (Ahmad) [AdSense-B]
5. Avoid tabarruj
To avoid tabarujj (female bad behavior), Muslim women should cover the jewelry and all its beauty by utilizing the veil worn. Here is the word of Allah SWT written on the verses of the Quran.
“And stay in your houses. Bedizen, not yourselves with the bedizenment of the Time of Ignorance. Be regular in prayer, and pay the poor-due, and obey Allah and His messenger. Allah’s wish is but to remove uncleanness far from you, O Folk of the Household, and cleanse you with a thorough cleansing.”
(Verse 33: 33).
6. The clothes used by Muslim women should be loose and can hide the shape of her body

The Messenger of Allah said,
“There will be, in the last days of my people, women who dress and undress, their curse: they are cursed.” (Al-Tabarani)
7. Women who wear transparent or tight clothes

“Belief and the sense of shame are tied together; if one is lost the other is lost.”

8. Muslim women are not to wear perfume in public
It is said that Muslim women do not deserve to wear perfume on their clothes, especially in mosques. A mosque is a place of worship and the aroma of perfume that attract attention can stimulate sexual desire. Here is the following hadith.
Abu Hurairah said that
“A woman passed by him smelling strongly of scent. He called to her: “O slave of the powerful, are you going to the mosque?” She said that she was. He said: “Go back and wash it off. I heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) say: ‘Any woman who goes to the mosque wearing perfume will not have her prayer accepted by Allah; first she should go back home and have a bath [to wash it off].'” ()
9. The clothes are worn free of the cross
If there is a cross on the clothes either on a woman’s or a man’s outfit this is forbidden. This is explained in the following hadith below.
“We used to do tawaf in the Kaaba with Umm al-mu’minin (Aisha), then he saw a woman wearing a burdah with a cross. Ummul Mukminin then said, “Release the cross. Release the cross. Really the Prophet Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam when he saw such a thing, he eliminated it. “(HR Ahmad)
10. The clothes of Muslim women should not resemble men’s clothes
The clothes worn by Muslim women should not resemble men’s clothes and vice versa. Here is the following hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah.
Abu Hurairah said that
“The Messenger of Allah (saws) cursed the man who wears women’s clothes and the woman who wears men’s clothes.”
11. The clothes of Muslim women should not resemble those of the disbelievers.
We as Muslims both men and women must pay attention to the commandments of Allah, which is revealed to us through the Qur’an and the Sunnah of His Messenger (SAW). “Is not the time ripe for the hearts of those who believe to submit to Allah’s reminder and to the truth which is revealed, that they become not as those who received the scripture of old but the term was prolonged for them and so their hearts were hardened, and many of them are evil-livers.”(Verse 57:16)
12. The clothing of Muslim women should not be ostentatious.
The Messenger of Allah mentions that Muslim women should not be clothing in ostentatious. Here is the following hadith reported.
Ibn Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah (saws) said,
“He who dresses for ostentation in this world, Allah will dress him in a dress of humiliation on the Day of Judgment and set it on fire.”(HR Abu Daud and Ibn Majah)
13. Women are allowed to wear gold and silk
Muslims women, not men are allowed to wear gold and silk, this statement was said by our Prophet Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam. Here is the Prophet Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam said in his hadith.
Narrated Abu Musa Al ‘Ashari: Allah’s Apostle said,
“Wearing silk (clothes) and gold is not allowed for the males of my Ummah but allowed to the females.” (HR. Tirmidzi and Nasa’i)
14. Women, not men, are allowed to wear clothes dyed in saffron
Muslims only women, not man are allowed to wear clothes dyed in saffron. This was said by our Prophet SAW. Below this is the following hadith
“Narrated by ‘Abdullah b. ‘Amr: Allah’s Apostle saw me in two clothes dyed in saffron, whereupon he said: Has your mother ordered you to do so? And I said: I will wash them. He said: But burn them.” (Muslim)
15. Cursed of women whom their heads are humps like those of Bukht (camel)
There is a curse for women whom their heads are humps like those of Bukht (one kind of camels). Our Prophet (Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam) said in this following hadith.
“There shall be, in the latter part of my nation, women who are dressed but (in fact) naked, on their heads are humps like those of Bukht (one kind of camels), curse them for they are surely cursed.” (Tabarani) [AdSense-C]
16. Covering the chest from the top
Muslim women are instructed to cover their heads to the chest. This command is in the following Quranic verses.
“And tell the believing women to lower their gaze and be modest, and to display of their adornment only that which is apparent, and to draw their veils over their bosoms, and not to reveal their adornment save to their own husbands or fathers or husbands’ fathers, or their sons or their husbands’ sons, or their brothers or their brothers’ sons or sisters’ sons, or their women, or their slaves, or male attendants who lack vigour, or children who know naught of women’s nakedness. And let them not stamp their feet so as to reveal what they hide of their adornment. And turn unto Allah together, O believers, in order that ye may succeed.”
(Verse 24:31)
17. The dress or cloth should not be painted with human or animals

Here are the hadiths due to wearing animal or human patterned clothes.
“Verily the hardest man of his punishment on the Day of Resurrection is that which is the creation of Allah.” (H.R. Bukhari and Muslim)
18. Start wearing clothes on the right side of the body
Both Muslims and women should wear their cloth or clothing starting with their right body. This is the hadith of the Prophet Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam.
“Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) said his right hand while wearing sandals, combing, washing and in all his affairs.” (HR.Bukhari and Muslim)
19. A woman’s dress is not allowed to cover the fabric all over her body
The Prophet Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam forbade this, he was said that a Muslim both male and female are not justified to cover the fabric throughout their body and leaves no place out for both hands. Here is the word of Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘alaihi wa Sallam.
“Let not one of you walk with one slipper but should wear both or let go of it altogether.” (Bukhari)
20. Pray before wearing new clothes or dress
Have you ever got new clothes? The first thing when you want to try is to pray when you want to wear new clothes or other types of clothing. As in the following hadith.
“O Allah, only to all those who praise, You who have given me clothing, I plead with You to gain His goodness and goodness from the purpose of this dress.I take refuge in you from the ugliness and ugliness of the purpose of this garment.” ( Abu Dawud)
