Who does not know Aisha bint Abu Bakar, the youngest wives of the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam. He married her while she still a virgin. At that time, the age of Aisha is 9 years old. The Messenger of Allah married Aisha after the death of Khodijah (the first wives of him). She was eight years younger than Fatimah, the Prophet’s daughter.
She also narrated many useful and blessing lessons from the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam with the number of hadith 2210. Aisha had a tittle “Humaira” (a woman whose cheeks are rosy blushing like a pomegranate).
She was the only virgin who married with the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam. She was very loved by the Prophet Muhammad SAW more than his other wives, even a whole women in this world.
There are so many virtues of Aisha that were described in the hadith of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. It is also explained by companions who know Aisha. Some of virtues of Aisha are :
- Aisha is the beloved woman of the Prophet Muhammad SAW
Amr bin Ash asked to the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam,
“who is the one that you love most, O Messenger of Allah?”
He said,
“Aisha.”
He continued to ask,
“Then who among the men?”
He replied,
“His father.”
This hadith is shaheeh, although there are many people who rejected it. But the Messenger of Allah did not love anything except that was good. He said,
“If I could take someone as a lover of this Ummah, then I would choose Abu Bakr as my beloved, but the Muslim ukhuwah is more important.”
So, the Messenger of Allah loved the most important person in his people both men and women, It was explained in this hadith that Aisha was the most beloved woman of Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam. Aisha was a daughter of Abu Bakr whom the Prophet loved from among men. What virtues were really belonged by Aisha.

- The Messenger of Allah married Aisha upon Allah’s command
It was narrated from Aisha, she said : The Messenger of Allah said :
“I always dream about you during three nights in a row, an angel came to me and you wore a silk cap. That angel said, ‘this is your wife’. Then when I uncover her face, she was you. I said, ‘If this comes from Allah’s side, then He will surely give it.”

- Aisha is a special woman
It was narrated from Abu Musa, from the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam, he said :
“There are many perfect men, but between perfect women are Maryam bin Imran and Aisha the wife of Pharaoh. While the specials of Aisha to all women, such as the specials of Tsarid (the kind of meat and bread that crushed) from other foods.”
In the hadith above, the specialness of Aisha is juxtaposed with the noble of women who mentioned in the Quran. The specialness of Aisha is also explained by the imagery of special meal at that time. [AdSense-A]
- Jibril once delivered his regards to Aisha
It was narrated from Az Zuhri, he said : Abu Salamah told to me that Aisha said : The Messenger of Allah said :
“O Aisha, this is Jibril, he sends his regards to you.”
Aisha said,
“Wa’alaihisslam warahmatullah, you see what we do not see, ya Rasulullah.”
- Allah SWT gave the revelation when the Prophet Muhammad SAW was with Aisha
It is narrated from Aisha, when the Prophet’s wives were jealous to her, the Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam said :
“Do not hurt me by hurting Aisha, because the revelation never came to me when I was in the clothes of a woman except Aisha.”
In this hadith, it is very clear that The Prophet Muhammad SAW received revelations when he was with Aisha in many times. And Allah SAW gave a verse that was caused by Aisha. That verse is starting from Surah An Nur verse 11 which means
“Indeed those who bring that false news is a group of your circles…..”
as Allah’s cleansing of the slander that was shared to Aisha. Subhanallah, Aisha has really virtues that no other woman in the world has it.
- The one of tayammum’s verse cause is Aisha
It was narrated from Aisha, she said :
“We have been out with the Messenger of Allah SAW in a part of his journey until we reached the field or Dzatil Jaisy, my necklace was broken until the Prophet tried to search it. While the companions who lived with him did not have water supplies, so they went to Abu Bakr and said, ‘What do you think about Aisha’s deed, she dwells with the Messenger of Allah while others have no water.”
Then Abu Bakr warned me. He said many things. Then he pressed his hand to my stomach and I can not move because the Prophet Muhammad SAW was on my tight. Rasulullah slept until the dawn without water. Then Allah sent down the verse of Tayammum, so they did tayammum. You may also read moderation in Islam.
Usaid bin Hudhair (one of leaders) said :
“This is your first blessing, O Abu Bakr’s family!”
and then we sent the camels that we rode, evidently that rope is underneath.

- Az Zuhri said, “If Aisha’s science was collected and compared with all science of women in the world, then Aisha’s science was more than them.”
Actually, there are still many the virtue of Aisha. Aisha is one of Ummahaatul mukminin and she was a beloved woman of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. Those virtues are unlimited and unnumbered, if we perceived the meaning of Aisha’s virtues with a sincere heart.
