To become successful in our job or business, we will do everything within our power. The measure of success, when it comes to those things, is by becoming rich. Wealth is not everything, it doesn’t even define our happiness. But we can’t deny that being wealthy makes this life much more bearable and easier.
Islam never forbid Muslims to become rich, but of course they have to get it by Islamic way. Actually, there are many ways how to become rich in Islamic way. Allah SWT created a man along with his decided sustenance beforehand.
“And no moving (living) creature is there on earth but its provision is due from Allah. And He knows its dwelling place and its deposit (in the uterus, grave). All is in a Clear Book (Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz – the Book of Decrees with Allah).” (11:16)
So how to becoming rich in Islamic ways? Here are some useful tips:
1. Seek for Forgiveness from Allah

“I said (to them): ‘Ask forgiveness from your Lord, verily, He is Oft-Forgiving; He will send rain to you in abundance, And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.’” (71:10-12)
2. Have Fear in Allah
In life, we must fear Allah SWT by any means. He is the Owner of everything in the universe, and by fearing Him He will provide us from sources we can never imagine. Fearing Allah means doing our duty and obligations.
“And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty). And He will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him….” (65:2-3)
3. Be Grateful to Allah

“If you give thanks (by accepting Faith and worshiping none but Allah), I will give you more (of My Blessings); but if you are thankless (i.e. disbelievers), verily My punishment is indeed severe.” (14:7)
4. Strengthening the Ties of Kinship
Be kind to your family, have a good relationship with them so every good will come to you. It’s no secret that severing the ties within family is the thing Allah hates the most. Behave nicely to them, then provisions may come to us.
Anas ibn Malik (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: “Whoever loves that he would be granted more sustenance and that his life span would be prolonged, then he should unite his ties of kinship.” (Bukhari & Muslim)

5. Ask Dua from Others

“O Allah, bless for them, that which You have provided them, forgive them and have mercy upon them.” (Muslim)
6. Do Charity
Nobody will ever fall poor if they are generous to others. This is the biggest benefits of giving charity to others. Allah SWT will return with multiplied amount.
“Say: “Truly, my Lord enlarges the provision for whom He wills of His slaves, and (also) restricts (it) for him, and whatsoever you spend of anything (in Allah’s Cause), He will replace it. And He is the Best of providers.” (34:39)

7. Perform Pilgrimage

The Prophet said,
“Make the Hajj and Umrah follow each other closely, for they remove poverty and sins as the bellows removes the dross of iron, gold and silver, and an accepted Hajj brings no less a reward than Paradise.” (Tirmidhi)
8. Diligently Worshiping Allah
Our main obligations in the world is to worship Allah SWT. Other things should come next. Make as much time as possible to worship Him. Do Salat on time, even better with sunnah prayer, do charity and many more.
Abu Hurairah (RA) reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
“Allah says, ‘O son of Adam! Take time out to constantly worship me, I will fill your chest with richness , and remove your poverty. And if you do not do so. I will make your hands filled with occupation, and will not remove your poverty’.” (Ibn Majah)
9. Make Dua to Allah

The Prophet (peace be upon him) said,
“Ask Allah for everything, even the lace of your shoes. If Allah does not provide, it will never be available.” (Tirmidhi)
10 Live with Honesty
In doing our job or running business, make honesty as the main principle. Stay in the right way in the transaction and don’t do forbidden things that only benefiting us.
