Because it will make an amount loss not only people around them, but also themselves.

With sacrifice, we learn how to understand people condition; we learned that there is nothing worth to boasted, even just a little thing we had. This is need an exercise, especially our lust. It is this lust that always makes us selfish and always think about our own interests. As long as we are selfish, then we will be hard to sacrifice. Lust is almost always successful to tempt a weak human faith. Drag them into the immoral space for lack of clues from Allah. This is mention in at least two verse of Al-Qur’an in different Surah : Al-Qasas verse 50 and Al-Jathiyah verse 23.

‘But if they do not respond to you – then know that they only follow their (own) desires. And who is more astray and one who follows his desire without guidance from Allah? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people’

‘Have you seen he who has taken as his god his (own) desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah? Then will you not be reminded?’
