Friday or Jummah is said to be the best day in Islam by Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the messenger of Allah. On that day, there is a particular prayer that is only done in Friday. The world was created on Friday and will be demolished on Friday as well.
Turns out not only the day of Friday that is the best and the most important, but also the night before or the Friday night. Here are the benefits of the Friday night in Islam:
1. Time to remember the deceased
All of our deceased family, our late father, our late mother, children, and relatives return home every Friday night. They asked permission from Allah to come down to Earth, entering through our front door to visit their beloved, living families.
The purpose of their return is to ask for a prayer from the living, to make their life in the Hereafter easier.

2. Good time to send prayer for the deceased
Friday night is a sacred night in Islam. As the deceased return to their past home, it is a good time to give them “gifts” to be taken back to the Hereafter. It is our prayer. The prayer we send to them will be received directly, as the deceased was present at the moment.

3. Allah SWT gives His blessing to all His servants
Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, whoever reads Surah Al Kahf on Friday will have a light that shine from him from one Friday to the next. The benefits not only happen on the day of Friday, but on the night before.
There are different benefits in reading Al Kahf on the day of Friday and on the Friday night. From Abu Said al Khudri, “Whoever reads Surah Al Kahf on the night of Jummah, will have a light that will stretch between him and the Ancient House (Ka’bah).”

4. The gate of Paradise (Jannah) start to open
The gate of Paradise (Jannah) open widely on the day of Friday. So they who perform Friday prayer and gives charity on Friday can enter the Jannah easily. But when did the gate of Jannah start to open? It is on the Friday night. Be the witness of this event by staying late to perform Tahajjud prayer, and make dua from your deepest heart.

5. Best time to seek for Allah’s SWT forgiveness
What is more important in the world but the forgiveness from Allah SWT? As Friday is the best day in Islam, Allah SWT gives His mercy to all of his servants who ask for it. Allah’s SWT mercy not come only for the living, but also to the deceased as long as the living asks for Allah’s forgiveness for them. Say “Astaghfirullahaladzim” as many as you can on Friday night so that you will be granted with the mercy from Allah SWT.

6. Allah SWT glorify His servants on that night
On this particular night, Allah SWT glorify His servants. In one of the verse in the Holy Quran, Allah SWT said,
“They will have whatever they wish therein, and with Us is more.” – Qaf (50:35)
Which is from it, Anas bin Malik (RA) said, “Allah glorify them (in Jannah) on Friday.

7. Big rewards are given to human
Not only reciting Surah al Kahf on Friday night that will brings big rewards for Muslim. For those who recites Surah no 44 in the Holy Quran, Surah Ad Dhukhan, all his sins are forgiven and for him, a house inside the Jannah. For each letter recited from this Surah, the rewards are equal to freeing a thousand slaves for the pleasure of Allah SWT. Moreover, Messenger of Allah (SWT) said that if a Muslim recite this Surah on Friday night, seventy thousand angles pray for Allah’s mercy upon him.

The 38th Surah in the Holy Quran brings its own benefits to whoever recites it in Friday night. Allah SWT would gives him all the good in the world that would not be given to anyone unless a Prophet or a high ranked angels. 9. Benefits from reciting Surah Al Ahqaf

Prophet Muhammad (SAW) said, “The Muslim who passes away on the night or during the day of Friday, Allah Ta’ala saves him from the punishment of the grave.” – Tirmidhi

The Messenger of Allah (SAW) said that both the night and day of Friday is very, very lustrous. That is why Muslim who worship Allah SWT will have a light coming out from him.
