Dua and Dhikr

Effective Prayers for Those Who Hate You

In life, it is impossible that all of people will like and love us. Every one of us would have a like and dislike. This is normal because a human has flaws and faults. Because of that, we must always try to apologize, forgive each other and tolerate everyone’s mistake. As a human, we must have faults and flaws in other’s eyes. Of course, we should realize it.

In Islam, when some people hate us, it will be better if we gave the best for them. We can pray for them. That is no problem, if they did not know and understand what we have done. Because the Ummah is like a building with the Muslims as it’s bricks, brotherhood is the cement. So, without forgiveness you can not have brotherhood.

OK then, he wronged you. He deceived you. He backbit you. He lied to you. But even in these extreme situations, the Quran and Hadith teach us that we have to forgive others (especially those who hurt us the most), If we wish to earn the forgiveness of Allah SWT on the day of Judgment.

We have all committed many sins, made many mistakes and no doubt we have wronged others, we have deceived others, we have backbit others and no doubt we have lied to others.

So, what makes uf focus into people’s errors while we remain unconscious of our own. Not to forgive is like to live in arrogance and ignorance of our own shortcomings.

The wisdoms of praying people who hate us

We have not to reply people who hate us with hate them, too, because there are many wisdoms if we replied them with dua and our goodness. Of course, it is not same as humble or insult ourselves. Here are wisdoms that can be got from it.

  1. Heart will be calmer

If we replied people who hate us with a kindness and also prayed for them, then our heart will be calmer. Our heart will be not sick because we spend something good and we don’t reply them with evils. The badness of someone does not become a problem and it will not dirty our heart if we were more sincere.

The dirtiness of heart can happen when we reply to the hatred of others with resentment again. For that, do not let our heart dirty because of our emotions and wishes to reply it with a similar thing.
