Allah SWT has made it easier for women to achieve the good deeds during her period (haidh) since she can still get the same rewards as men.

Good deeds stories won’t stop when a woman in period since the angels keep writing good deeds as long as women commit it to please Allah. Here are 13 importance of haidh in Islam:
1. Get a Rewards
If you can be kind enough then Allah SWT will give an overflow of reward for holding the pain you felt. As haidh is a privilege possessed by women just understand about the law of cutting hair during haidh.
2. The Abundance of The Greatest of Allah SWT
Women becomes a bit more special than men this is also evidenced by the existence of the haidh period and following verses that complement it:
“And Allah has extracted you from the wombs of your mothers not knowing a thing, and He made for you hearing and vision and itellect that perhaps you would be grateful.” (QS. An-Nahl : 78)
3. Keep Up the Honor
Basically the women’s honor is very valuable, but sometimes not fully controlled by humans. This is why Allah SWT provides a barrier such as the existence of haidh. Listening to the recitation of Al-Qur’an is the conditioning of soul, a calmer heart, and a spirit’s food. What is one of the most important psychological drugs? It is a source of pleasure, even in some animals and pleasure in moderation purifying the inner energy, improving the function of the faculty, slowing the dementia decay by expelling the disease, improving wrinkles, and refreshing the whole body.
Excessive pleasure, on the other hand, makes the body disease became worse. Allah SWT says:
“….So give good tidings to My servants, who listen to speech and follow the best of it….” (QS. Az-Zumar : 17-18)

5. Read the Tafsir and Meaning of Al-Qur’an
Contemplating the verses of Allah SWT is a form of worship, it is something that will attract someone close to Him. Allah SWT, said in Al-Qur’an as follow:
“Then do they not reflect upon the Qur’an? If it had been from (any) other that Allah, they would have found within it much contradiction.” (QS. An-Nisa : 82)
6. Dhikr to Allah SWT
A woman who is menstruating can do excessive dhikr both day and night. We will all regret every second wasted without remembering Allah SWT. Mu’ad Ibn Jabal said that the Prophet said as follow: [AdSense-A]
“The people of heaven will not regret anything except one thing: the time that passes with them which do not make them remember Allah SWT.” (Narrated by Bayhaqi in Shu’ab al-Iman)
So, we must set our daily target to perform dhikr as much as possible. We can remember and glorify Allah SWT whatever we do throughout the day. At work, while cooking, shopping & even while relaxing like the effect of dhikr on the soul.
We must remember of Allah SWT within our hearts and not just verbally. We must also contemplate the splendor and the creation and imagine it before us as we glorify and remember it.
7. Forgiveness and Repentance
A woman in her period can make Allah excessively day and night. Allah SWT says in the Qur’an:
“And when My sevants ask you, indeed I am near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls upon Me.” (QS. Al-Baqarah : 186)
Place of dua is high in front of Allah, that the Prophet said:
“Nothing more honored for Allah the Highest that Dua.” (Sahih al-Jami No. 5268)

8. Understand More of Islam
A woman in haidh can learn a lot of Islamic knowledge as she can through books, online search, or from teachers, etc.
“Alah will raise those who have believed among you and those who were given knowledge, by degrees.” (QS. Al-Mujadila : 11)
“We have certainly created man into hardship….Have we not made for him two eyes and a tongue and two lips and have shown him the two ways (obedience or disobedience).” (QS. Al-Balad : 4-10)
9. Serving Parents
One ever asked to the Prophet Muhammad :
“Should i join jihad? He asked, ‘Do you have a parent?’ the man answered, ‘Yes!’ The Prophet (Salallahu Alayhi Wasallim) said, ‘Then fight by serving them!” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari : 5972)
10. Give Da’wah (Preaching)
“And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, “Indeed, I am of the Muslims.” (QS. Fussilat : 33)
A woman who is menstruating can give da’wah to other sisters and non-Muslims. We must spend our lives to invite others to Allah whether they are Muslims or non-Muslims like the importance of da’wah in Islam.
“And let there be (arising) from you a nation inviting to (all that is) good, ejoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong, and those will be the successful.” (QS. Ali ‘Imran : 104)
11. Improving Character
A woman in haidh should show their best behavior, character and manners in this blessed month and throughout her life. She must strive to be the people with the best character and manners since that is what will lift us in the afterlife. Rasulullah used to say:
“The best among of you are those who have the best character and manners.” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari)

12. Charity
A woman in her period must spend in the way of Allah SWT as much as she could to perform charity that extinguish sins except one from fire. The Prophet said:
“Charity tortures sin when water extinguishes fire.” (Narrated by Tirmidhi)
13. Serve and obey her husband
It is compulsory for all Muslim women to obey their husbands in evey good matters. she was promised of heaven for fulfilling her duty to his husband. Abu Hurairah reported that Rasulullah said:
“If a woman prayed for her five prayers and kept her private parts pure and obeyed her husband, she would enter Heaven from one of the gates of heaven she wanted.” (Ibn. Hibbaan)
