20 Quran Dua for Success and Victory in Life

Who does not want to succeed? All people want to gain success in their life. No exception with Moslem people, they also want success. They should work on it in order to reach the success. Besides the effort, they should perform the dua for success. There are many duas for success according to various sources. Yet in this article will describe dua for success according to Quran.

  1. Quran 2:201 (Al Baqara)

This dua is for our success in the dunya (real world) and akhirah (the day after). Moslem usually recite int the end of the supplication asking for God protecting them from the Fire of the Hell.

Rabbanaa fidunyaa hasanatan, wa fil aakhirati hasanatan, wa qinaa azaban naar

“Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.”

2. Quran Surah 25:  74 (Al Furqan)

The dua quoted from Al-Furqan is for success not only in the job or business but also success in the marriage, surrounded happiness and full loving to the wife as well with the children.

Rabbanaa hablanaa min azwajinaa wa dhuriyati-na qurrata a’yunin wa aj’alna lil muttaqeen

“Oh my Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us for the righteous leader“

Recite this dua everytime finishing the obligatory prayer for gaining success in our life.

3. Quran  20 : 25-28 (Taha)

It is the story of Musa (Moses) reciting the dua before he went to Pharaoh to convey the revelation from God which was the One who mankind to be worship instead of idols.

“Rabish rahli sadri, wa yassirlii amri, wahlul uqdatam mil lisaani, yafqahuu qauli”

“My Lord, expand for me my breast [with assurance], And ease for me my task, And untie the knot from my tongue, That they may understand my speech”

It is recommended reciting this Quran verse before we performing some exams, interview of the enrolling into the first rank of college/university, as well for the employee candidate who performing the job interview.

4. Quran 20 : 114 (Taha)

This dua is often recited by the students starting for learning in school and probably before started studying. The teacher will teach the dua from Taha 25-28 followed with this ayah 114.

“Rabbii zidni ilma”

“My Lord, increase me the knowledge”

5. Quran 38 : 35 (Ash Saad)

In Quran, it is the story of the prophet Sulayman (Solomon) used to recite this quoted dua. It is Insha Allah for gaining the rizq smoothly and wealth if you recite it everyday.

“Rabbigh firli wa hablii mulkan laa yambaghii li’ahadim mim ba’dii innakaa antal wahhaab”

“My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower.”

6. Quran 27 : 19 (An Naml)

It is as well the Prophet Solomon reciting dua for the abundance of sustenance:

“Rabbi audzi’ni an ashkuraa ni’mataka alatii an ‘amta alaya wa ‘alaa walidayya wa an a’mala saalihan tardlohu wa adhilnii birahmatika fi ibadikas saalihiin”

“My Lord, grant me the power I might grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to do righteousness of which that will please You. And admit me by Your mercy into [the ranks of] Your righteous servants”

7. Quran 5:114 (Al Maidah)

It is the dua from Prophet Isa Alayhissalam (Jesus) asking to Allah for foods in the Eid celebration day. There are the story of Surah Al Maidah verse 114, it is the recitation of Jesus (Isa Alayhissalam) asking to Allah foods which is laid on the table in the celebration day (Eid). This dua is for asking the abundant sustenance and it is describing as the foods lying on the table on the festive day.

“Allaahumma rabbanaa anzil alaynaa maaidatan minas samaai takoonu lanaa ‘eedan liawwalinaa wa akhirinaa wa aayatan minka warzuqnaa wa anta khayru arraaziqeen“”

“O Allah, our Lord, send down to us a table [spread with food] from the heaven to be for us a festival for the first of us and the last of us and a sign from You. And provide for us, and You are the best of provide”

8. Quran 8: 62 (Al-Anfal)

“Wa iyyureedoo yachda’ooka fa inna hasbakallah, huwallazee ayyadaka binasrihi wabil-mu’mineen”

“But if they intend to deceive you – then sufficient for you is Allah . It is He who supported you with His help and with the believers”

Whoever reciting this ayah, will gain successful in passing the exams or any work.

9. Quran 28: 24 (Al-Qasas)

“Rabbi innee limaa anzalta ilayya min khayrin faqeerun”

“My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever (the goodness) You would send down to me, in need.”

This dua is for those who need a success in getting the desired job / work as well easily getting the good partner.

“Wa man yattaqillaaha yaj’allahu makhraj. Wayarzuqhu min haythu laa yahtasibu waman yatawakkal ‘alaa Allaahi fahuwa hasbuhu inna Allaaha baalighu amrihi qad ja’ala Allaahu likulli shayin qadran”

“And whoever fears Allah – He will make for him a way out and He will provide for him from where he does not think before. And whoever relies upon Allah – then He is sufficient for him. Indeed, Allah will accomplish His purpose. Allah has already set for everything a measure”

For successing in the part of the life such as carreer, marriage, businness, a moslem should reciting this Qur’an quote whenever we found the hardship.

11. Quran 9 : 129 (At Taubah)

“Hasbiyallaahu laa ilaaha illaa huwa ‘alayhi tawakkaltu wahuwa rabbul ‘arshil ‘adheem”

“Allah is sufficient for me, there is no God except Him. On Him I have relied, and he is the Lord of the Mighty Throne”

Whoever recite this dua for 7 times, he/she will get their problem out of their life and Insha Allah will gain abundant sustenance.

12. Quran 17: 80 (Al – Isra)

“Rabbi adkhilnee mudkhala sidqin wa akhrijnee mukraja sidqin waj’al lee min ladunka sutlanan naseera”

“My Lord, grant me an entrance of sincerity and an exit of sincerity and grant me from yourself a victorious power”

This dua is for asking the easiness and luck in any aspect of life such as in the business.

13. Quran 42: 19 (As Shura)

“Allaahu latheefoom bi’ibaadihee yarzuqumay yashaau. Wa huwal qaweel ‘azeez”

“Allah is gracious unto His slaves- He provides for whom He wills. And He is Strong, the Mighty”

14.  Quran 23 : 29 (Al Mukminun)

“Rabbi anzilnee munazalam mubaarakaa wa anta hairul munzileen”

“My Lord, let me land at a blessed landing place, and You are the best to accommodate [us]”.

It is the dua of Prophet Noah when he was on his ship asking Allah for landing on the blessed land. This dua is for gaining the glorious position (in the job and politics).

15. Quran 18 : 10 (Al Kahf)

“Rabbanaa Aatina mil ladunka rahmatan wa hayyi lana min amrinaa rashada”

“Our Lord, grant us from Yourself mercy and prepare for us the right guidance from our affair “

16. Quran 61: 13 (As Saff)

“Wa ukhrayaa tuhibbunahaa. Nasrun minallaahi wa fathun  qareebun wa bashshireen mu’mineen”

“And another (favor) that you love – victory from Allah and an imminent conquest; and give good tidings to the believers”

17. Quran 3: 26 – 27 (Ali ‘Imran)

“Qulillaahumma maalikal mulki tu’til mulka man sahaa-u watanzi’ul mulka mimman tashaa’u wa tu’izzuman tashaau wa tudhillu man tashaa’, biyadikal haiir, innaka ‘alaa kulli shai’in qadeer. Tuulijul laila fin nahaari watoolijun nahaara fil laihi watuhrijul hayya minal mayyiti watuhrijul mayyita minal hayyi watarzuquman tashaau bighairi hisaab”

““Say, “O Allah, Owner of Sovereignty, You give sovereignty to whom You will and You take sovereignty away from whom You will. You honor whom You will and You humble whom You will. In Your hand is [all] good. Indeed, You are over all things competent. You cause the night to enter the day, and You cause the day to enter the night; and You bring the living out of the dead, and You bring the dead out of the living. And You give provision to whom You will without account.””

Recite this ayah everyday after obligatory prayer so that Insha Allah you can get the success in the workplace.

18. Quran 113: 1-5 (Al Falaq)

“Qul audhu birabbil falaq. Min shari maa khalaq. Wa min sharri ghaasiqin idhaa waqab. Wa min sharrin naffaathaati fil uqad. Wa min sharri haasidin idhaa hasad”

“Say, “I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak. From the evil of that which He created. And from the evil of darkness when it settles. And from the evil of the blowers in knots. And from the evil of an envier when he envies.””

19. Quran 3:16 (Ali Imran)

“Aladheena yaqooloona rabbanaa inannaa  aamannaa faghfir lanaadh dhunoobanaa waqinaa ‘adh dhaaba nnaar”

“Those who say, “Our Lord, indeed we have believed, so forgive us our sins and protect us from the punishment of the Fire,””

20. Quran 3: 147 (Ali Imran)

“Rabanagh firlanaa dhunuubanaa wa israfanaa fii amrinaa wa tsabit aqdaamanaa wansurnaa ‘alal qaumil kaafireen”

“Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess  in our affairs and plant firmly our feet and give us victory over the disbelieving people (kafeer)”
