The month of Ramadan is a blessed month. All worship and goodness in it will be rewarded with double rewards. And one of the recommended worship is done in Ramadhan month besides Ramadan fasting and the way of its implementation which is the pillar of Islam, do umroh worship in Ramdhan month is also highly recommended.
This is because there are the virtues of umrah worship and special rewards in the month of Ramadan. Here are 10 rewards of umroh in the month of Ramadan :
1. Similar to Hajj
Bukhari (1782) and Muslim (1256) have narrated from Ibn Abbas, he said:
“The Messenger of Allaah (sallAllaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam) said to a woman from Ansar. “What prevented you from performing the pilgrimage with us?” He said, “We have only two camels, one brought by the father and his son, the other we use to water the garden.” So the Prophet said, “When Ramadan comes, Umrah, because the Umrah is the same as the Hajj.“In Muslim history,” Same with Hajj with me. ”
Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wa sallam said,
يا أيها الناس قد أظلكم شهر عظيم ، شهر فيه ليلة خير من ألف شهر ، جعل الله صيامه فريضة، وقيام ليله تطوعا ، من تقرب فيه بخصلة من الخير كان كمن أدى فريضة فيما سواه، ومن أدى فيه فريضة كان كمن أدى سبعين فريضة فيما سواه
“If Ramadan arrives, do umrah at that time because the worth of Umrah in Ramadan is as worth as hajj.” (Narrated by Bukhari 1782 and Muslim No. 1256).
2. Double rewards
Rasulullah SAW said:
يا أيها الناس قد أظلكم شهر عظيم ، شهر فيه ليلة خير من ألف شهر ، جعل الله صيامه فريضة، وقيام ليله تطوعا ، من تقرب فيه بخصلة من الخير كان كمن أدى فريضة فيما سواه، ومن أدى فيه فريضة كان كمن أدى سبعين فريضة فيما سواه
“O people, have come to you glorious moon. In that month there is a better night than a thousand months. Fasting is made as a duty. The evening prayer is a practice of sunnah.
Who does goodness on that month is like he performs duties at other times Who does the obligations on that month is like fulfilling seventy obligations at other times. “( HR.Al-Mahamili in Al-Amali 5:50 and Ibnu Khuzaimah in his shahih 1887. Shaykh Al-Albani said that this hadeeth is munkar just like the Genealogy of Al -Ahadits Adh-Dha’ifah no 870)
Rasulullah shalallahu ‘alaihi wassalam also said: “Prayers in my mosque, more than a thousand times (compared) prayer in other mosque except Masjidil Haram. And the prayer at Masjidil Haram is more principal than one hundred housand (compared) in other prayers. “(Hadith is validated by Al-Mundziri and Al-Bushoiry.) Al-Albany said:” its sanad is saheeh in accordance with the requirements of Bukhori and Muslim, Irwaul Ghalil, 4/146).

3. His prayer will be granted
One of the prayer times is when umroh is in Ramadan. By saying a prayer to Allah SWT when umroh, Insya Allah, our prayer will be granted. From Abu Huraira, Rasulullah shalallahu ‘alaihi wassalam said: “The one who does hajj and umroh is the guest of Allah, so if they ask him, it will be granted, and if they ask forgiveness Allah will forgive him.” (HR.Ibnu Majah and Ibnu Hibban).
4. Be a guest of Allah
Prophet sallallaahu ‘alaihi wassalam in his word, “The person who performs hajj and umroh is the guest of Allah Azza wa jalla and his visitors. If they ask Allah, he will be given by Allah. If they ask for forgiveness Allah will certainly accept their prayers. And if they ask for intercession they are necessarily given blessings“. (Ibnu Majah). [AdSense-A]
5. The Reminder of Sin
By doing umroh in Ramadan, where there are many features of Ramadan, then we will also get forgiveness from Allah SWT. As the words of the Prophet SAW namely :
عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: العمرةُ إلى العمرةِ كفَّارَةٌ لمَا بينَهمَا ، والحجُّ المبرورُ ليسَ لهُ جزاءٌ إلا الجنَّةُ
From Abu Hurairah RA, Rasulullah SAW said,
“Umrah’s worship to the next umrah worship is a rebuke (sin) between the two, and the haji mabrur no reward (for the culprit) but heaven” (Narrated by al-Bukhari and Muslim).
6. Away from poverty
Rasulullah SAW) said: “Accompanying between the Hajj and the Umrah because they both abolish sin and purity, as the fire-blower removes iron, gold and silver impurities, and there is no reward for the Mabrur hajj but heaven” (Narrated At Tirmidhi, An Nasa’i, and others).
7. Jihad for women
If the virtue of jihad in Islam is usually more obtained by men, one of the jihad paths that can be done by women is with umroh, especially umroh in the month of Ramadan. From Aisyah RA, she said: “O Messenger of Allah, is woman also obliged to jihad?” Rasulullah SAW replied, “Yes. She is obliged to fight jihad without any war in it, that is with hajj and umroh.“(Narrated by Ibnu Majah).
8. Gain the multiply benefits of umroh
If umroh in the month of Ramadan, then should take time to pray in Quba mosque because its reward is equal to the reward of umroh.
لَا تَقُمْ فِيهِ أَبَدًا ۚ لَّمَسْجِدٌ أُسِّسَ عَلَى ٱلتَّقْوَىٰ مِنْ أَوَّلِ يَوْمٍ أَحَقُّ أَن تَقُومَ فِيهِ ۚ فِيهِ رِجَالٌ يُحِبُّونَ أَن يَتَطَهَّرُوا۟ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ يُحِبُّ ٱلْمُطَّهِّرِينَ
Meaning: “Do not stand [for prayer] within it – ever. A mosque founded on righteousness from the first day is more worthy for you to stand in. Within it are men who love to purify themselves ; and Allah loves those who purify themselves.“(Surah At-Tawba: 108)
Rasulullah shalallaahu alaihi wasalam said: “Whoever has been washed (berwudlu) in his house, then went to the Quba mosque, then prayed two rak’ahs, for him is the same as the reward of Umrah. “(Sunan Ibn Majah)

9. Being a much more patient person
Running fasting Ramadan while doing umroh is a worship that requires greater patience than other worship. In addition to having to keep away from things that break the fasting, we also must keep ourselves to implement umroh in accordance with the procedures of implementation and the requirements of Ramadan fasting and Ramadan principles.
Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala said,
رَّبُّ ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٲتِ وَٱلۡأَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَہُمَا فَٱعۡبُدۡهُ وَٱصۡطَبِرۡ لِعِبَـٰدَتِهِۦۚ هَلۡ تَعۡلَمُ لَهُ ۥ سَمِيًّ۬ا
“Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them – so worship Him and have patience for His worship. Do you know of any similarity to Him? “(Q.S. Maryam: 65).
10. Passed away when Umrah gets reward until doomsday
As Abu Hurayrah radhiallaahu anh u said: Rasulullah shalallaahu alaihi wasalam said: “Whoever goes out Hajj and passes away, it will be recorded to him the reward of a hajj to the Day of Resurrection.
Whoever goes out in performing Umrah and then passes away, it shall be recorded for him the reward of one who performs the Umrah until the Day of Resurrection, and whoever goes out in war on the way of Allah then passes away, it shall be recorded for him the reward of one who fights on the way of Allah till the Day of Resurrection. ”
Passed away during Umrah in the month of Ramadan means that he died in the state of doing two worship at once so that the reward that he got until the end of the world also become two rewards of worship at once, namely umroh and fasting. From Hudzaifah Radhiyallahu ‘anhu, the Prophet sallallaahu’ alaihi wa sallam describes the person who passes away in a condition of charity,
“Who declares Laa ilaaha illallah sincerely expecting the face of Allah, and he ends his life with this pledge, then he enters heaven. Who fasts sincerely expecting the face of Allah, and he ends his life with this fast, then he enters heaven. Who gives sadaqah sincerely expect the face of Allah, and he ends his life with this charity, then he enters heaven.“(Narrated Ahmad 23324 and renowned Syuaib al-Arnauth).
